Lovely girly colours and funky patterns are the stand out for this range of Paper Trunk. With a few cut out patterns from the paper foam mounted giving dimension there was little else to be done apart from the title and journaling. Paper Trunk has done it again.
From one of Paper Trunks first ranges, Jaimie has created this stunning layout making beautiful use of not only the papers but Heidi Swapps mask alphabet.
We thank the lovely Alison Shearer for joining us as a guest dt member this month and for creating this and the following two stunning layouts. She shares a little information about each.
I loved these papers. They are so bright and colourful and easy to mix and match to get lots of different looks. The circles on this paper were great for this LO about my daughters netball adventures - plus the red worked so well with her red shirt.
I loved the bright funky colours against the stark black background, especially the bright green and red together. I had been wanting to scrap this close up pic of my daughter for a while and these papers seemed just right to me.
The Hambly abstract flowers also worked really well with the Paper Trunk range.
The large abstract flower design on the brown background was a lot of fun to work with but I knew I wanted to keep the embellishments fairly simple so the flower didn't overwhelm the photo. Hand sewing and buttons dressed it up nicely.
When Cheryl first sent Jaimie the Paper Trunk Chipboard wheel - she wasn't quite sure what to do. It wasn't until she walked past her daughters bedroom door that was slowly being covered in post it notes telling where she was that the idea struck to create a "Where am I" wheel. Jaimie covered the chipwheel with lovely PT Jellybean paper, distressing the bottom wheel and inking all edges. She added her daughters name over the top of the HS glitter florals with the lovely scrapworks glitter alphas.
Then Jaimie took photos of her daughter and added them to the windows. Now her daughter can show where she is and what she is doing without covering her door in yellow post-it's!!
