pow! stickers - non alphas

0929

The most wonderful thing about stickers is their versatility and adaptability. It usually takes Steph hours to complete her layouts, but using these Sassafras Lass stickers, she was able to complete this layout in 30 minutes. They are colourful and fun and reflect the smile of Madison perfectly. Steph highlighted the general "anything goes" feel of the layout by adding strips of Scenic Route Patterned Paper as a border for her layout.

To be able to manipulate stickers is something Carole loves to do, with the use of the gorgeous BasicGrey Euphoria Elements Stickers and transparency Carole has been able to layer (3D) the stickers to create pretty embellishments.  She also incorporated Jenni Bowlin Journaling blocks and SEI Poppy frame with the BasicGrey to give it a not completely uniform feel.

Caz has used the Basic Grey Two Scoops element stickers for the basis of this sweet page. She cut one of the border stickers in half and adhered half at the top and half at the bottom of her photos to create an unusual photo mat. A row of brads give a little bit of texture and something for the eye to follow.

For this layout Mel has used a combination of Sassafras Lass Robotics and Sunshine Lollipop cardstock stickers to create a backdrop for her puppy photo - just like layering small patterned paper pieces, but instead using stickers.

Mel has also adhered the large arrow sticker to thick piece of chipboard, cutting around the edge closely with scissors and adhering onto her page to use a journaling block. This adds extra dimension to the sticker.  Another way to add the dimension to stickers without the chipboard is to use foam mounting tape - the top left hand photo corner has been lifted from the page this way.

Long gone are the tacky stickers with the white rims of yesteryear, today's stickers are cool, funky, cute - in fact anything you need them to be.  Suz created this layout as a bit of fun as her kitten has no more hope of catching a bird than she has of flying, and yet she keeps trying.  Suz has used the Hambly Kraft bird stickers and border stickers to create cute and colourful accents on this page.

Tab alphas are one of Nic Howard favourite mini album embellishments at the moment, as you can see by this example using Little Yellow Bicycle 'Zach's Life' fabric stickers. Nic cut 4 x 6 1/2 pieces of patterned papers by BasicGrey and LYB and tied them together with Strano ribbon. She added some Glimmer Misted Scenic Route frames and the fabric stickers to finish. Such a quick and easy mini album for any occasion.
