For Steph, Inque Boutique was all about their stamps. She loved the idea that she could finally get the chance to play with their beautiful images. Steph used a number of mediums to create this layout, for example the lace frame stamped on the bottom right hand corner of the photograph is layered with pigment ink, glimmermist and paint. By combining all these products Steph was able to achieve a variegated colour combination which added interest to the page.
She used the same technique for the Inque Boutique butterflies, but this time touched them up with Twinkling H2O’s. For the crown, and scroll stamps, simple white paint was applied with a paintbrush, created a 3D effect once stamped. This way the ink looks thin and thick in places throughout the image. The final stamp she used was the “Walt Disney Quote” which she stamped with a Versa Cube Ink and added detail with a green marker pen.
Suz used the Cabana range of papers from the 6x6" paper pad to create this bright beach layout. She loved the huge sun in the Inqueboard pack, and used a different patterned paper for each ray, accenting the joins with some golden Heidi bling. The felt embellishments added texture and a splash of strong colour.
The Out of this World range are fantastic boy papers - perfect colours, perfect background designs, perfect for quick layouts where you don't have to think about whether they'll work together. Suz layered different colours and patterns from their 6x6 paper pad to create a fast and easy background for her son's first time on roller skates. The wave chipboard created the perfect spot for a title.
Out of this World papers are just too cute !! so Carole decided to create this very cute little door hanger for her son's room. She created a transparency (Acetate) circle stuck to to the back of the door hanger so she could 3D some cute little spaceships onto.
Chris created an accent to suit the theme of her layout from the Inque Boutique chipboard pieces. She covered the house shape with the Memoirs papers and inked the edges. She then inked the other shapes using Raspberry and Brown Versa Color ink pads.
Chris cut flowers, circles and strips from the Always in Bloom papers to create this simply pretty layout of her daughter and best friend. Perfect colours for a little girls layout.
Mel's daughter always seems to be in her own little morning bubble first thing of a day. The Always In Rounds chipboard circles were perfect to cut up and emulate bubbles on the layout. For a really quick and beautiful embellishment, Mel added an Always In Bloom large felt flower to her layout.
Two of the lovely girls from the Inque Boutique Design Team have allowed us to borrow their creations to inspire you all. First, using the Memoirs range of papers and felt sheets, Sherry Wright created this gorgeous layout. And hasn't she distressed the edges beautifully!? Thank you so much for sharing Sherry!
And secondly Betsy Veldman, also from the Inque Boutique Design team thrills us with this fabulous and fun summer layout using Cabana Collection. We love how Betsy has combined the felt and chipboard into her layout.
A big thankyou again to Betsy for sharing another layout with us for this post - Ruffle Bum. Betsy has used some beautiful Inque stamps to create a series of accents for the page .... and that's certainly a cute bottom to scrapbook :)
And using both a mix of Cabana and Isn't it Romantic collections Betsy has delighted us again with this sweet and pretty layout of a very special birthday girl! Many thanks for sharing your work with us Betsy.
