What could be more fun than celebrating the boys with die cuts and colour, lots of photos and journalling - that's gotta be what scrapping is all about! Because all the layouts this week are doubles, we've set up the post so that if you click on the layouts you'll be able to see a larger version in another window - so you can appreciate all the gorgeous details and fun journalling that's been included.
This is Suz Doyle's reply to our final challenge - she loved the excuse to use a heap of photos she took of Alex at a playcentre recently. She used fab We R Memory Keepers 'Frenzy' papers from their White Out range which worked perfectly with the bright and somewhat leery colours that play centres inevitably seem to come in. Suz also welcomed the criteria to add black and white photos as well as colour to tone down those playcentre colours and give the eye a place to rest.
The die cut elements were some funky paisley Quickutz dies scattered strategically to add to the illusion of movement and direction in the layout.
This was a real challenge for Carole because she rarely if ever does a double layout, but also a lot of fun. She used the gorgeous Cosmo - Cogsmo diecuts and pattern paper, with a little stitching, added some journaling at the top of the layout, and loved how it all came together, colours looks great with the white background.
And here are our final three challenge entries - we love them all too much to vote this week - we'll be sending all three of you a gift from Aussie Scrap Source to thank you for helping to make the competition what it was, and providing us with such wonderful inspiration week after week.
