Suz fell instantly in love with Twiddleybitz’s cherry blossom tree, and created this layout using it to its best advantage. Her whimsical daughter decided to plant some Smarties one day so that she could grow a chocolate tree (would that that were true!) and so Suz painted the blossoms in bright Smartie-like colours using the gorgeous Luminarte saturated coloured Perfect Pigments. The tree itself received a coat of Gold from Luminarte’s Twinkling H2O range, and BasicGrey’s new Lemonade transparent elements were the perfect other embellishment.
The beautiful shapes, flowers and objects really brought home the diversity of this range to Steph. She loved all the butterflies and flourishes, so these two separate Twiddleybitz products, had to be combined on the one layout. Steph cut off the butterfly and adhered it separate to the flourishes. She used Tattered Angels Glimmermist to cover the chipboard and the result was stunning.
As you can see the flourishes make a perfect accompaniment for any floral clusters. The flower was hand made by Steph and Glimmer Misted in a shimmery lilac.
Having "one of those weeks" with her fighting children, Nicole decided to celebrate, or at least record, this phase in the family with a layout dedicated to sibling rivalry. Using the winged skull by Twiddleybitz to emphasise that it's not a happy moment, Nic layered the word "STOP" over the top and used the Graffiti Alphas also by Twiddleybitz to create her title. Glimmermist works perfectly on the Twiddleybitz chipboard pieces as Nic has demonstrated here on the skull's wings and title. Two layers of Glimmermist created that gorgeous shimmer and the clean cut edges of the Twiddleybitz chipboard meant there was no sanding needed either.
