Anna Griffins Flora would have to be one of Carole's favourite collections. The florals suit Carole's style and the colours and embellishments to this collections are just so complementary. Carole cut and layered the flowers onto the layout with her usual incredible detail, and also added some stitching.
Nicole used the lace cut papers in the Peyton collection to create a textured mat underneath her photo, to give it an interesting border. She also cut elements from the lace paper to use as embellishments then used the textured animal-print paper to not only cover a chipboard letter but also as some funky pleated ribbon-styled border details. She created the flower from Anna Griffin ribbons and cut the felt ribbon in half to create the pretty lacy edge. The journal pad creates perfect journal blocks that will match with many different layouts and paper ranges and aren't those bling brads gorgeous?
Suz had the Darcey collection to play with which includes, but isn’t limited to a beautiful colour palette of pretty greens, reds and black which is a versatile enough combination to be used for pretty much anything! The co-ordinating alphas are flocked, as are some of the papers, like the green damask design Suz cut out at the top right hand corner of her layout. Combining the textures of the flocking with the translucent smooth vellum and adding stitching creates interest in this linear layout.
