We’re excited to introduce Echo Park Papers to you, a new manufacturer that Aussie Scrap Source are thrilled to add to their ever growing list of fabulous brands! Check out what some of our design team have done with these gorgeous fun papers…
Janine loved the bright and fun papers in the Echo Park Sweet Summertime range and wanted to create a fun page that extended the pictures of her little girl running under a big tree, so the stickers were a perfect accent for that. She also added a touch of Glimmer Mist spatters to the background for more visual interest to the page and to continue on with the carefree feel.
Kathie loves sheets crammed with cute bright die-cut images. Echo Park’s Walk in the Park collection comes complete with images of kites, balloons, butterflies, flowers, ducks and pennant flags. The bright colours in the range were a perfect backdrop for the Kathie’s monochromatic photo.
When Sue first received her pack of Echo Park papers, she was impressed by the beautiful soft patterns and by the quality of the paper. Sue decided to keep her layout quite simple and chose to make a butterfly embellishment featuring several of the lovely patterned papers. To do this, she traced a Jenni Bowlin chipboard butterfly onto cardstock, adhered the patterned papers, cut off the excess and added lots of stitching for detail.
Wendy McKee is a very talented papercrafter. She has an amazing ability to create lovely little embellishments which are full of eye-catching details. When you look at something Wendy has created, it is delightful because the more you look at it, the more wonderful details you find. Wendy has done a fabulous job here of showcasing the beautiful colours and patterns in the Life is Good range. And what a cute photo! Thanks so much Wendy for sharing your work.
Jane Clark used the Life is Good range to create these fun cards. She has cut out elements and layered them and of course the versatile journalling card and sticker sheets come in particularly useful. She kept embellishments simple with some sequins and some layering.
