Caz loved playing with the Core'dinations Cardstock from Jenni Bowlin. She tore one piece to expose the coloured core and sanded the pattern on another piece to let the inner colours show through. A cluster of art flowers and a length of ribbon finish the layout off. Such a fun and easy way to create an eye-catching textured layout.
Iris loves the classic vintage look of Jenni Bowlin products. She created a stunning textured and colorful base for the rub-on butterfly and then added paint and mists to the cardstock to allow the butterfly to be more visible against the kraft cardstock. The vintage pins added the perfect finishing touch.
Nic was so very excited when Jenni Bowlin released her Coredinations range of cardstock as it combines the tactile appeal of product that she loves with subtle colours and vintage-inspired patterns. In addition to that, it has been released in Nic's favourite colours!
Nic rubbed back the base cardstock to reveal the paler centre and create softness. She built her layout on top of this by adding sanded back cardstock pieces from the range plus papers and letters from Jenni Bowlin Studios.
Danielle really adored the big yellow butterfly rub on, so she decided to make a card out of it. Danielle applied the rub on to a folded piece of transparency and then cut around it for a butterfly shaped card. She made sure to leave the top of the wings on the fold, so she did not cut the card apart. She then added a piece of the Play Date 12x12" die cut paper edge on the inside of the card. Two butterfly stickers were layered together to add dimension.
Chelsea from Japan created this beautiful layout using Jenni Bowlin's Core'dinations cardstock for her background. The lightly sanded card reminds us so much of snow, just like in her sweet little picture. Thanks for letting us share with our readers Chelsea.
Instead of sanding the cardstock, Leslie Ashe from texas sprayed it with paint to create a background that ties in with her other papers. As you can see the painting brings out the embossed surface of the cardstock beautifully. Thanks for sharing with us Leslie.
