Sue loved the beautiful blue tones in the Renew collection from Authentique and created almost a monotone page by layering the different patterned papers. The yellow in the flowers gave the little pop of colour that the layout needed. Sue teamed the collection with photos of her son Bailey, hanging out with their pet cockatiel named 'Lollipop'. They were taken on yet another rainy day spent cooped up inside.
Jane layered one of the frame stickers on cream card then cut a smaller square frame out of the centre, back it with one of the pretty papers then arranged a selection of the stickers in the bottom right-hand corners . Jane said that these stickers are perfect for layering and creating cute little clusters on cards!!
Jane had trouble choosing from the beautiful vintage collection of images on the Greeting sheet but after watch a Jane Austin movie recently this one stood out the most to her! She added a William Shakespeare quote sticker at the bottom for the sentiment then stripes of the black and white scalloped sticker below it to add more detail to her card.
Have you got Easter photos you are waiting to scrap? If so, check out this beautiful mini album designed by Shellye McDaniel for Authentique, using the Hope collection.
Kay Fatula created this beautiful card using the Authentique Summer range. We love the lift the gorgeous pops of yellow give this line.
The Peaceful collection by Authentique is a sophisticated, vintage-style range, perfect for scrapping your winter photos. Sue lives in Queensland though so doesn’t see too much of a true winter up there. Instead she decided it would be perfect to showcase a few photos of her Christmas ornaments. Sue loved the neutral colour scheme and decided to complement the range with gold and silver tones. Sue even added in a glittered snowflake Christmas ornament, for which formed the base of a beautiful, layered and textured embellishment. If you haven’t used Authentique before, we’re sure you will love the textured heavy-weight papers.
Kim couldn't resist the beautiful aqua and orange colours in the Gathering range - or fussy cutting out the beautiful orange poppies to create the main embellishments on her page. If you look at the actual poppy patterned paper, there are berries printed onto it. Kim has replicated this look using brads on her page, adding detail and dimension. Kim has used a number of the lovely phrases in the various cardstock die cuts for her journaling.
A big thankyou to Lynn Sholoples for sharing her beautiful layouts using Authentique products. In this first layout, Lynn has used the same range Kim did (Gathering) but with a completely different look, which shows the versatility of the range.
In her second layout, Lynn has used the Enchanted range to create this fantastic halloween themed layout. If you would like to see more of Lynn's work, you can visit her blog here.
Tina Walker recently guest designed for Authentique and is sharing some of her beautiful projects using the Curiosity range. Tina has used the range to full effect, layering various items to create the gorgeous layout above and two cards. Thanks so much for sharing Tina!
Shellye McDaniel created a beautiful pocket to hold sweet tags she made, using the Authentique Fresh collection. Shellye cleverly covered a manila folder with paper and embellishments to form the pocket. Have a wander through many of her gorgeous gorgeous tags below. Wouldn’t they make lovely gift tags?
Thanks Shellye for allowing us to share your designs.
Curiosity from Authentique is a charming back to school range with with a clever limited colour palette of yellow and teal, full of distressed effects and vintage images, and their Halloween line, Enchanted looks like it would be fabulous versatile and just as at home on everyday or masculine pages.
Suz Doyle used the stunning Authentique ‘Splendid’ range to create this page which documents the beginning of her daughter’s journey to learn about and work with her potential dyslexia or learning difficulty. Suz has printed out emails between herself and teachers and created a pocket to put them in. The contrast between the straight colour blocks and the bright, seemingly random Prima bling seemed to represent to her the difference in learning styles that her daughter may need.
Louise W adores the modern vintage look and warm colours of the Authentique 'Gathering' range. As with most of the Authentique papers, they're printed on a heavy, slightly textured card weight so make it perfect for fussy cutting and lifting with popdots to add dimension without sagging.
By combining some Prima flowers with a trinket and some bakers twine, she's created a co-ordinated cluster of embellishments that draw the eye to the small cardstock diecut headings, keeping the page clean, simple yet also highly detailed.
Jane Clarke used the 6x6in Authentique Genuine paper pad to create these two cards. In this card she fussy cut around the zigzag pattern of one paper and added it at the bottom so it would be more prominent. Leaves were also cut from another paper and added on top for eyecatching dimension then a Prima resin birdbath and bird were added to complete the card.
Jane absolutely loved the worn denim patterned papers in the Authentique Genuine 6x6in pad, she covered the front of her cards with the star pattern then added a punched strip of another, a floral panel, trims and a word from the Authentique Genuine elements sticker sheet.
Louise W loved this beautiful layout by the talented Elizabeth Carney who has utilised the Authentique Genuine range to create a light, feminine page from what would normally be considered masculine colours.
The very talented Irene Tan has created this beautiful page with the 'Gathering' range of papers. By fussy cutting flowers and using them to frame both the photo and the gorgeous little haberdashery cluster, she's managed to draw the eye across the layout to the journaling with pops of colour and intricate detailing.
The very girly 'Uncommon' range has been put to beautiful use in this gorgeous layout from Misty Buck. Subtle layering with cute journalling banners and handmade flowers add a delightful touch to an otherwise simple gridded design.
The talented Tracee Provis puts the Authentique 'Genuine' range through it's paces in a series of fantastic creations. Here she's altered a clipboard into a beautiful layout utilising the ever-popular chevron pattern in the papers to accent her design. The addition of hand-stitching highlights the homestyle feel of the paper designs and adds a lovely touch of texture.
Tracee has again added her hand-stitching touch to this beautiful layout featuring papers from the same line. The fussy cut flowers and leaves co-ordinate perfectly with the butterflies and add both interest and a burst of colour.
In this final layout from Tracee, she's created some hand-made banners from the papers to accentuate her journalling, adding a whimsical touch that ties in with the small owl and pops of colour from the fussy cut flowers.
The rich colours and thick cardstock base of the new Authentique papers give an excellent base for this layout by Louise W. She combined texture paste with a Crafters Workshop template to create the bird imagery along with dimensional paint dots for added detail. The Splendid range combines a pop of lime and aqua with a hint of distressed vintage, perfect for this boys layout.
Jane has used the 6x6in Authentique Uncommon paper pad to create this card, the designs are smaller and compliment the card size. Janes has used a Prima resin wishing well and cut the quote from the bottom of a 12x12 Uncommon paper where the barcode is.
Just one of the things that Jane loves about these papers is the texture of them, they're sturdy and the designs are just gorgeous! Jane gathered lace underneath the cut flowers and trim sections to create a flower. The bird is a Prima resin piece and the word is Authentique sticker.
Veronica Goh uses the Uncommon range from Authentique to create this stunning layout. With the distressed edges and soft textile touches combined with the intricate chipboard detailing, it's all pulled together in a beautifully cohesive page that matches the colours in the photograph perfectly.
This eye-catching page by Rosangela Philippsen uses the Authentique Blissful range beautifully. The warm colours and clever use of masking and fussy cutting add subtle focal points to the multi-photo layout, while the photo groupings and small frame details make it pop with the dimensional layering.
We loved this fun layout by Wendy McKee that also utilises the Blissful range of papers. With small touches like pearl head pins and various hearts, Wendy has pulled together a joyful page that captures the charm of the photo perfectly.

Janine had never decorated a 7 Gypsies Printers Tray before and found it a wonderful experience. In many ways it is quick and easy as you know that you have set sizes within each of the compartments to decorate, so it is somewhat similar to creating a lot of little cards and then deciding on the correct placement of them within the tray for balance and design. Janine used the brand new Authentique ‘Uncommon’ range of papers for her tray and loved them.
