This month Aussie Scrap Source received its first shipment of dies form Elizabeth Craft Designs and Leanne was excited to be one of our first design team members to get creating with them. Leanne loves the dies as they are beautifully manufactured, pay particular attention to detail and have some very unique designs just perfect for her card making and off the page projects. They would also be perfect for scrapbook layouts and the small scale of many of the dies also make them perfect for pocket page style scrapbooking too.
This first card features one of the multi-layered small butterflies and the curvy leaves dies. The dies are intricately designed and cut cleanly and quickly. The inbuilt embossing sections also add to the detail on the leaves. The sentiment on this card was created using the “Thinking of You” die – they are just the right size for personalising cards.
For this card Leanne created some tiny layered flowers using the Bunch of Flowers die. The three different sizes of each flower allow you to create many different size flowers and layers.
Leanne used the multi toned paper from the paper pad to give the flowers some variation and by using the tool kit from Sizzix she could sculpt the flower petals. Leanne then finished off each flower with a pearl or three
This card used both the tag and gift dies. Leanne added a frame to the tag by cutting a second tag down and layering it underneath the original tag. The hearts that were cut out of the gift box were also perfect to re-use to add to the detail on the card.
Elizabeth Craft Designs shares many of their creations and those of others who use their dies, stickers and other products on their Facebook page. These tags feature the following dies: Triple Leaf Set, Tags, Bunch of Flowers 2 and the gorgeous Ladybug.
These two projects are just beautiful and highlight the versatility of the dies. Thank you for sharing your creations with us!
This festive card features the Wreath Bow and the Birdie.
We are excited to share some more creations featuring Elizabeth Craft Designs dies by the amazingly talented Kittie Caracciolo. Kittie has used the Bunch of Flowers 2 and the Curvy Leaves dies to create these stunning and intricate cards. Her attention to detail is phenomenal. You can see more of her beautiful work over on her blog. She also has a number of tutorials featuring these dies too. Thank you so much Kittie for sharing your beautiful work with us.
