After those teasers last week, here we are back with full images of projects from our design team, showing just how versatile four simple products can be when mixed with others in your stash.
Nic visited the zoo not long after receiving the Crate baby bee papers. When she got the photos printed she realised they were perfect for her zoo pictures. She inked and layered various papers and added the Heidi Swapp mask branch as an embellishment down the left side. The We R Memory Keepers inspiration dipstick is tucked in with a montage of photos. Oh Baby ribbon underlines the perfect title "My Tribe".
Finishing details include inked and curled paper circles and Queen & Co brads. (..and look - multiple photos, large chipboard title and journalling strips - i'm just looking for the beads somewhere but it's definitely a Nic layout!!)
Suz created this layout to showcase her daughters love of gardening, plants and flowers. She will happily spend hours in the front garden, 'weeding', watering and picking flowers, and these papers and mask were the perfect tools with which to create her page. She has used the branch mask to create a light 'tree' shadow in the background, but used the actual bird directly onto her layout.
She handcut flowers from the Baby Bee papers to make little flourishes and accents for her page.
Donna had been plotting to put a Heidi mask straight onto a page or project for many months. Here she has used the Heidi Swapp mask as the basis for the design, placing the branch straight on the top of the Picture It Pageframe. She then handcut some flowers from the Baby Bee collection 'Pollen' pp. Adding a few more flowers and a little Bling finishes the design and highlights the tenderness of the moment captured in this photo of her two daughters. The We R Memory Keepers Dipstick tag also highlights this aspect and provides the title 'enjoy the moment'.
And last but not least, Steph found it so satisfying creating this little book for her daughter. She used lots of rub ons and embellishments throughout the book to highlight the gorgeous papers and products that this challenge presented. She added a pink muslin bow, which added to the softness of the project. By adhering the paper to the ready made chipboard book, Steph just cut around the pages and sanded them to finish off.
Steph used such an eclectic mix of embellishments to put together this mini book. Its makes the book so interesting to read each page, as they vary so much in theme but are tied together by the co-ordinating patterned papers by Crate Paper.
