weekend inspiration: queen & co

 

Donna  has gone all out on this layout featuring Queen & Co.'s beautiful range of products and her cheeky little daughter. She has utilised Q&Co chipboard, combined with sequins and jewels, to create the focal flower embellishment and finished it off with some beautiful alpha dots and painted chipboard from the 'Friends' chipboard theme pack.

 

Caz has chosen a pink and black colour scheme for this layout of her eldest daughter and her 3 close friends. She decided that the Queen & Co Kissy Fit range was a perfect match for the assorted papers she had chosen. Caz sanded the edges of the fontastics letters and added them directly to her photo. A Bon Bon brad forms the centre of the unusual flower created using 2 difference Heidi Swapp florals folded in half.

 

By attaching the felt to the candle using sequins and brads Chris created this purely decorative home decor item which looks stunning on the display shelves in her kitchen.

 

As our piles of photos-to-scrap become larger and larger, many of us go searching for fun and unique ways to scrap multiple photos on a single layout? Look no further!

Lisa Risser has created beautiful layout to showcasing a rather large selection of summer photos. The colours of summer - popping right out of her photos - are perfectly matched with a few Queen & Co brads and their funky chipboard letters. What a simple, yet exquisite use of products.

 

We are thrilled to share with you this adorable altered mirror by another of Queen & Co's dt members, Wendy Reed. Wendy has beautifully incorporated some luscious felt ribbon to create this very girlie, and absolutely necessary, accessory! Thanks Wendy.

 

What is more gorgeous, the sweet painted faces of the children or this layout by Anabelle O'Malley?

Anabelle has used a mix of brand new and older Queen & Co embellishments on her layout. New White Heart Felt Fusion and
Large and Small Felt Flowers from the Brights Collection, combined with the older Fab Flowers, Sprinkle Brads and Fontastics (painted white with UTEE on them).

Another fabulous layout from Queen & Co design team member Anabelle O'Malley.

We loved the bright colours in this layout and the way Anabelle has curved the Red Heart Felt Fusion around her main photo.

Anabelle altered the fontastics letters once again. This time with purple glitter.

 

These two stunning layouts and card are shared with the permission of the talented Linda Beeson from California.  Unfortunately they were amongst the layouts that went missing from the CHA booth recently.

The first layout 'Star' featured the luscious new Felt Fusion Ribbon in Star Swirl Blue. A scattering of Mini sprinkles and a heart shaped Bold Brad finish off a lovely page.

 

 

The second layout has a semi-circular shaped window cut in it and Linda has laid strips of Felt Fusion Floral in Hot Pink behind it. The circle was continued around and over the photo using various sequins, brads and flowers in the 'soul mate' colours. A simply stunning effect.

Thanks Linda for allowing us to share two precious layouts.  We continue to hope that these and the rest of the Queen & Co's design teams' hard work are recovered safely.

design team challenge: heidi swapp frame kits cont'd

Heidi Swapp's 'Love' frame kit is just so beautiful and girlie - Donna was thrilled to accept this particular dt challenge. Most of what you see in this layout is taken straight out of the kit. The rubons that adorn the two chipboard frames are definitely Donna's favourite, with the jewels and decorative tape coming a very close second!

Molly Twoddle.  How cute is that?!

Donna put this adorable photo frame together, literally in 10 mins. Seriously. It took no time at all to adhere a couple small strips of SEI pp, rub-on some simple sentiments from the frame kit, tie a ribbon, add some tape and jewels and last, but not least a ghost heart. This is a fabulous gift idea and would look great sitting on a desk or with a magnet attached...on the fridge.

 

In Mel's words "I just love the versatility of the Heidi Swapp Frame Kits. For my challenge layout I chose the Preppy kit because I was really drawn to the scrumptious mix of red and blues with a splash of white. The kit was filled to brim with frames, tissue flowers (so nice to work with), ribbons, clips, bookplates, brads plus more. I still have a generous amount of product left after completing this layout that will be fabulous for cards or to add to other projects in the future.  Such a great challenge!"

For this layout Mel has mixed the kit with some of her favourite Jenni Bowlin papers and added some machine and hand stitching. The frame has been mounted with 3D dots to help add a nice dimension to the page.

Finally, here's another little work of art Maxine created from her frame kit that slipped off our first post!  Max found that this last little funky bright yellow HS frame was the perfect size to create a square card.   To funk it up even more Maxine punched holes in the lower left corner, adding some arrow rub-ons to the pattern.

meet the design team: my scrap space - nic howard

It’s been a running joke in our home for a while now that whenever we build a home (and we do that often, my hubby is a builder) that we always have to have the extra room for scrapbooking.

 

 

My scrap room was affectionately nick-named “The Bat Cave” by my hubby quite a few years back when it was a tiny, tiny room that I would disappear into for hours at a time. It has not gained much in size, it’s still a tiny room, but I have become more efficient with my organization and storage as I have let scrapbooking take over more of my day.

 

 

My favourite scrapbooking organisational tool is the Cropper Hopper vertical storage. I previously stored my papers in manufacturer-sorted folders but when I saw this vertical storage I was sold. Each small folder holds a different manufacturer and it comes with dividers as well. The larger ones hold my cardstock. Love it. So much paper in such a small space. That has to be a good thing!

 

As my room is small, I’m not big on display items. I don’t have any beautiful inspirational items around me. I have a large built in desk and a tonne of stuff sitting in open boxes in front of me. All incredibly organised, of course, for example this box of photos. Waiting to be scrapped!

My home décor is much the same. As we have built and moved so many times I have become used to not having pretty things around me. My home is essentially bare – I have calico curtains and walls void of art. I do have a set of favourite photos I display, and a few favourite vases etc around the home, but it doesn’t go much further. I swear one day I will get lots of pretty stuff. One day hasn’t arrived yet.

 

 

I think my scrapping colour preferences used to follow the modest decorating in my home. At one point I was nicknamed “Putty Girl” by a magazine editor for using the same tones of sand and brown, over and over. It was about this time that I did a layout expressing my fear of having to use the colour red.

 

 

These days I embrace colour. This is in part due to the move in trends since I was dubbed the putty girl years ago, but also I think as a matter of confidence. Who would have known that red and teal are the colours I would reach for first after owning such a dreary nickname? Apparently my fear of red has been cured, lets hope my home décor follows soon!

weekend inspiration: heidi grace designs

 

Suz created this delicate layout using the Winnefred Street range of Heidi Grace papers.  The larger flowers and flourishes are handcut from the stunning floral paper which is both flocked and shimmery.  She has used the co-ordinating chipboard alphas and printed flowers, and the alpha rubons which she found apply like a dream.

The colour combination of pink and brown are perfect for boy & girl pages. In this layout Maxine cut a heart from a piece of basic cardstock and punched heart shapes from various Cherrywood Lane papers. She then glued the punched hearts on allowing some to over-lap at the bottom of her photograph. She also used the cherry word rub-ons as a decoration around the heart shape, turning them as she went to follow the curves. She made a cluster of hearts from the cherry shapes cardstock stickers.

 

   

Maxine first met Heidi Grace when they both tutored at an ISC in Sydney in 2005 and again in 2006 at CHA. What a perfect photo to use for Heidi's products.

 

As soon as she saw the Cherry Wood Lane collection Maxine knew she was in for a treat. Maxine said it was pure delight to work with the gorgeous pinks and browns and everything just fell into place easily. She especially loved the texture of the papers, the embossed designs with the touch of glitter just sheer bliss!

 

The Urban Acres Blvd range of patterned paper, chipboard and stickers blends so beautifully together as Mel has demonstrated here in the layout of her little niece Bonnie. The chipboard shapes are easy to use with their self adhesive back, so they can be peeled straight from the sheet onto your layout, no messy adhesive needed. Mel has added a little bling to the chipboard swirls and lightly sanded the edges back to white to help lift the layout.

 

This simply striking layout by Cathy Bodini caught our eye recently. Cathy has mounted the Heidi Grace papers onto chipboard hearts, sanded the edges and punched small holes through the middle of each heart to create buttons. Such a cool idea!

Even though Chris chose the 'travel' frames to create with she found that they matched perfectly with the new Basic Grey Infuse range and both were a fantastic combination to compliment these black and white photos of her mother in the Australian Army.  She cut one of the frames to measure the same size as another, distressed the edges of the frames and overlapped them to create this layout. 

Chris found that the rub-ons contained in the travel frame kit also related to the photos she was scrapping.

 

 

Chris found the small frame in the kit was perfect for creating a special keepsake for her sister.  Her sister is sure to adore this hanging frame containing the cute photo of her neice and nephew.  Chris has used bits and pieces left over from packets of Basic Grey rub-ons, Cherry Art chipboard and Deja View papers to create this keepsake.  The hero arts 'love you lots' sentiment finished it off beautifully.

 

 

 

Jaimie decided to use the HS frames instead of paper on her Summer LO. She sanded the frames, used the rubons, ribbon, ghost words and decorative tape provided in the kit and then layered the frames so that they sit under her photo.

The addition of Sass Lass Sew Fine paper fit the colour scheme perfectly - Jaimie said what better way to cheer yourself up in the middle of Winter than to scrap pages of your Summer memories!

   

 

Jaimie saw the potential to make a journal for her daughter with two of the frames in the HS Summer Frame kit. She trimmed down two frames to the same size and decorated the front and back cover with rubons, ribbon and Sew Fine paper. Plain notepaper was cut down with sections marked by craft cardstock, HS Surfer girl tape and the index tabs and inserts provided in the frame kit. The addition of the floral makes for a perfect little girls journal.

 

   

The remaining small frame was embellished simply with rubons, index tabs, chipboard heart and some machine stitching and now sits proudly on Jaimies favourite handbag to show off her beautiful children.

Meet the Design Team's Scrap Space! - Chris Millar

Each Monday we have been featuring a member of our design team, talking about their style and influences and showcasing some of their layouts that best represent their style.  Now you've met them all, we thought we'd start all over again and have some fun talking about the part of the house they quite possibly spend a lot of time - their scrap areas.  We asked them about their top storage tips, home decor and colour schemes and how these might carry on into their scrapping style.

The brave Chris Millar again kicks off with answers and some fab layouts.

 

 

The journalling on my layout reads: "Who would have thought that a small basket of scrapping supplies could have turned into a whole room full?!   Actually, Jason would have thought!  He knows me too well!

 

My scrap space evolved from that very first small basket of precious essentials, to a small section of our home office, to virtually taking over the whole office!  As I've become more involved in scrapbooking I've worked out what set up works best for me. 

I like to see what I've got in my stash, so the bookcases were a wonderful way of displaying lots of bits and pieces without taking up too much floor space.  My most recent storage utensil is the 'clip it up'.  This is the one of the most marvelous inventions and allows me to see all my rub-ons, stickers, button packets etc. with such ease.  I have positioned it to the left of my desk and can reach over and spin it around and find just what I'm looking within seconds.

 

    
Earlier this year I changed the way I stored my cardstock and pattern paper to the Cropper Hopper Expo divided storage holders.  Not only do they take up less room than paper racks, they also preserve papers and cardstock better by not allowing the moisture and dust to warp and harm them.  I can easily transport them to crops if I wanted to as well.

 

I think the most important storage we can have in our scrapping spaces is our albums.  The Scrapworks Anthologie Albums are in my opinion, the Rolls Royce of layout storage!  They are so roomy, the ring binding allows easy access for putting layouts in and out of the album and the album totally encloses therefore protecting the layouts completely.

 

 

For photo storage I've adapted this recipe card holder that I bought from Office Works to hold my pre-scrapped photos.

 

 

 

 

I have to admit, when it comes to choosing pattern papers and embellishments for layouts I am completely drawn to the girlie type colours.  I think mainly because I have two beautiful daughters but also because I love all things pretty!  I love putting together combinations of pinks and greens as shown in this layout using the Twirl range from Crate Paper and the touch of brown gives this layout a warm feel.  I also love bright, happy colours and lately have been putting together shades of green, orange and blue for a fresh look.

 

 

weekend inspiration: arctic frog

  Introducing Arctic Frog's two stunning new patterned paper lines - Delightful Blend and Coffee Break.

The Arctic Frog Delightful Blend range is made up of colourful, bright and cheery papers and accessories and were just begging to accompany these loveable photos of Molly and her puppy, Chris said. She also added a touch of red hand stitching to the layout to compliment the red in Molly's jumper.  ** Photo by Dallas Foley

 

Another take on the new Delightful Blend by Arctic Frog DT Member Jaime Warren, it creates an entirely different mood when placed on black - a little more dramatic but still vibrant.

 

The "Coffee Break" papers with their warm oranges and reds were right up Suz's alley and worked perfectly with her photos of her mum facing some facts about the Thing.  She teamed it up with some Queen & Co sequins and Lil Davis 'Rock' star alphas.

 

This warm and inviting layout by Denine Zielinski captured our attention with it's fabulous design and great use of the 'coffee break' range of Arctic Frog papers. Thank you for sharing with us Denine.

 

 

We have the talented Jaime Warren to thank for this layout also, another example of the charm of the Coffee Break papers.  Here Jaimie proves that less is more and has given this layout wonderful movement and life with strategically placed patterned paper and heidi swapp bling circles.  Thanks Jaimie for allowing us to share your layouts. 

 

Did we mention we loved these papers?  This time Leah Zion gives them a fresh and fruity look sharing a layout about a yoghurt covered child!  We loved the light hearted look and the torn edges - it's worth noting that Arctic Frog are a lighter weight paper perfect for creating edges and texture.

 

 

Finally, thank you to Wendy Price for kindly allowing us to share how she has used the Flower Show Arctic Frog papers to create such a stunning layout. We particularly loved how eye-catching Wendy has made the 'Winning Blooms' paper by cutting out the flowers and combining them with the black background.

design team challenge: heidi swapp frame kits

These have been around for a while now, and you might be forgiven for thinking they're a bit old, a bit dated, a bit 2006.  Our design team might have too - until they started having a play for themselves, and teaming up the contents with newer papers and alphas.  The rules of this challenge were simple - use the contents of a frame kit of your choice. Make whatever you like with it.  Team it with your choice of papers and alphas, but pretty much all embellishments must come from the kit.

 

Maxine Hazebroek created all of the projects you see below from the Heidi Swapp Easter Frame kit.

 

 

Maxine turned this small frame from the HS Frame Kit into a gorgeous fridge magnet. Punching holes in the bottom of it allowed her to use the jump and tags included in the kit. She used the Hero Arts stamp to add decoration to the white tags. The Queen & Co flower sequins are an added extra.

 

 

 

 

 

The potential for these Heidi Swapp Frame kits is endless. They are jam packed with so many goodies, and like everything Heidi, a joy to create with.

 

 

 

The options for these frames continue. Here Maxine has embossed and sanded over the top of the green frame. She has also covered another frame and used it as a corner on the top right side of the layout.  Check out her close up shots below to see more detail.

 

 

 

 

Caz loves that the Heidi Swapp Frame Kits come full of matching goodies ready for you to whip up a number of layouts.

She has cut down 2 of the larger frames to create giant photo corners for her photo in her layout below. The edges were sanded in keeping with the distressed look of the background paper.  One of the smaller frames has been used to highlight the second part of the song title which fits this photo of Caz's daughter perfectly.

Caz layered the delicate paper flowers and added a yellow button to its centre to match the daisies that are in Jordan's hair.

 

 

Meet the Design Team: Maxine Hazebroek

 

When first asked to describe my style I really had to think long and hard about it. Posing the question; do I actually have a specific style? After pondering the question I eventually came to the conclusion that I don’t have a specific style. I’d rather describe myself as a bit of a chameleon as my style varies from one page to another, or at least I think it does.

If I look deep into which layouts come easiest to me I’d have to say the more heavy ornate collage styled ones. The following layout I’d describe as vintage art.

 

There is a lot of texture in this layout; something I am very akin to. I like to take patterned papers and mix and match them, cutting out certain elements, scrunching, embossing and raising them. It’s in no way meant as disrespect to the manufacturer but rather a need for touchy feely elements.

 

If I can throw in a digital element here or there I’m set. See here how I’ve added the digital brushes around my eye in the photograph. Speaking digital I can’t go past Rhonna Farrer & Katie Pertiet their work is truly sensational. You can find lots of their digital elements amongst my files.

 

As for favourite products I am always drawn to Basic Grey, the colours, elements and good quality paper is a must in any scrapbookers stash. I also like to include snippets of Queen & Co and Heidi Swapp. Crate Paper is another of my favourites; loving the texture and designs of the papers. I love my stamps too and Hero Arts have enough to wet my appetite very nicely. The beauty of stamps is they are always ready to use and are a great way to add oomph to any embellishment, I especially love alphabet stamps.

I may be a little weird when it comes to inspiration as I don’t blog surf or look at on-line galleries or magazines for my inspiration. I prefer to look at my own completed layouts or gain the inspiration from my photographs or the products I am using. The scrapbooking industry is forever evolving with new products that there is a lot there to keep ones enthusiasm sparked. Here are a couple of old layouts of mine that have spawned many a re-creation.

 

 

The jelly bean layout features all cherryArte paper & rub-ons, another product line I enjoy working with, together with some Queen and Co to add a bit of texture. I love the design and crispness of this layout.

The childhood memories layout shows my use of non-conventional products such as the tissue paper background coloured with food colouring and the cream curtain fabric for the leaves and vines. I do like to look outside the box and try to come up with things that are a little different.

 

I have recently discovered these nova journals. I must admit I don’t read what is inside them (shhhhhh don’t tell) but I do find the front covers amazing.  I am sure they conjure some great thoughts deep inside my brain that will surface one of these days in my scrapbooking, or maybe they already have and I don’t even know it. I love how they are so different in a sort of whimsical way, they really are very thought provoking.

 

I am lucky to be able to scrap at least once a week with one of my best friends Audrey Underwood. Now here is one truly inspirational human being. When the two of us get together; the creativity just flies, as well as the time. We excite each others creative imagination and often create the most amazing things in each others company. It’s also about the conversation, the chocolate, the music and defiantly the singing (both really bad singers).  Audrey has created so many beyond the page items that just leave me speechless; she is such a huge talent.  Her page designs are always full of texture with plenty of elements for the eye and mind to indulge in.  Thank you Audrey for allowing me to share her work.

I do feel blessed with the countless friendships and opportunities this wonderful hobby has given me. Yay for being a scrapbooking addict!

weekend inspiration: scrapworks

 

Steph is really loving doing bright layouts at the moment, and she chose the Scrapworks Formal Affair Papers to compliment this colour scheme. The Black and Cream patterns of the Scrapworks Papers highlight the bright fushias and limes that this layout shows. She has also used the Scrapworks Alphas and painted them with Heidi Swapp "Betty" Pink Paint. When the alphas were dry, Steph stamped them with Pink ink to bring a brighter chroma which matched her other colour choices.

Steph once again painted her shimmering flowers, so they were nice and bright and added a button & Queen and Co Felt for contrast.

 

 

 

  

Suz also had a play with the Formal Affair papers, teaming them with the beautiful turquoises and aquas of heidi grace and Hambly.  She painted Heidi Swapp chipboard letters to match.

 

 

 

Mel loved working with the Florabella range - it's just so pretty, girly and easy to scrap with!! For this layout, Mel used the Florabella textured shapes and the Ginny, Florabella and Sampler patterned papers.

 

 

 

Cards are such a fabulous way to use up left over paper scraps and that's exactly what Mel has done here with these two cards. The chipboard flowers from the the Florabella Textured Shapes box make a fast embellishment - simply add stack several flowers on top of each other and adhere to give a beautiful layered effect.

 

 

 

 

 

   

Suz also had a play with the Florabella range using this gorgeous photo taken by Raylene Wilkinson.  She particularly loved the new Colour Rubz font folders, the font shown here is called 3 Ring, and Suz has inked the insides of the letter design to make them stand out further.

design team challenge : four products four ways : jenni bowlin

 

Caroline McLachlan used the challenge products to create this beautiful layout of her daughter at nine.

 

 

 

 

Donna chose to create what is essentially a type of door hanger - although she has chosen to display it in her scrapping room hung on the antique chair she's so fond of.
It is the Cosmo Cricket Buck Naked Buttons that form the basis for this project. Donna covered one of the larger circular buttons with the Jenni Bowlin Vintage Bird pp and one of the hearts by wrapping strips of Heidi Swapp's Preppy tape around the entire shape.

For Mel this product challenge contained two of her favourite products at the moment - the Jenni Bowlin range and Heidi Swapp tape. For the cards, Mel decided to create a set with lots of layering and the Cosmo Cricket Buck Naked Buttons & More pack allowed her to do this easily.

She covered the chipboard with a mix of decorative tape and patterned paper (sanding down the decorative tape to add a nice vintage appearance) and combined hand and machine stitching here and there to complete the look.

scrapbooking hit my radar probably just exactly when it was supposed to - not long after my son alex was born.  it was just moving out of its creative memories stage and was starting to do exciting things with mulberry paper piecing, raffia and vellum, with a few adventurous forays into coloured wire and alphabet beads.  it took a while to build momentum, averaging a double page layout a month or so and often starting and never bothering to finish, when i discovered the lure of the online scrapping and swapping world, and it hit obsession level around 2004.

Moving away from the paper piecing, i wandered into shabby chic where i first discovered amazing artists like Mishell Lancett and fell in love.

 

My own attempts to replicate her beautiful style fell short though, and where Shell was chic I was just dreary.  I needed more colour in  my layouts and found my guru in the form of Kim Archer.

 

 

Her use of colour and design just blew me away and i quickly became a groupie, pretty much buying magazines on the strength of whether she had projects in there or not.  Her designs, never symmetrical yet always perfectly balanced are fun and personal, and i love that there is often a quirky element, something deliberately not quite right that catches your eye and draws you in.

 

 

Finally Steph Caskey-Devlin who i'm now lucky enough to be working with here on the Aussie Scrap Source design team is an astoundingly talented artist who never fails to amaze and inspire me.  Speaking of Steph, we're currently all anxiously awaiting news of the arrival of her second baby and wish her all the very best.

Other Inspiration will come from wherever I can get it - and it's becoming more and more elusive.  Because for me it's all about colour and light I often turn to stock photography websites such as  istockphoto.com  for colour palette inspiration as well as retail shops (the new look anthropologie is even more beautiful than before) and interior design sites. Stationery, cards, magazine covers, everyday objects can also provide wonderful inspiration if you really see them, as can sites such as designers guild.

 

 

Slowly through the above influences and many more, my style was crystallising I guess, a gelato colour palette, lots of light and lots of white.  And almost always a shade of green. Design-wise I can be all over the place and like many i have trouble defining my style, but if i have one it has more to do with my colour stories than any uniformity of design or habitual use of product. I love the rainbow and will find any excuse to use as many colours as i can get away with in a layout.  My 'dreamy' (a nice way of saying overexposed!) photographs have become a bit of a trademark, probably more so than any design style.  i love the look of lots of white space but despite my best efforts I generally manage to fill up my pages.

 

 

 

Classic me!  Bad photo, simple design, lots of colour.  New Scenic Route Ashville papers and a play with cool new Sassafras Lass Wood Grain Alpha Stamps.

 

I love the challenge of new product and these Luxe papers are stunning.  Rich saturated  colour, i managed to get my requisite white in there mostly through my photos.

Suz Doyle has used an assortment of papers from Cupid's Candy shop to highlight this simple layout of her daughter's determination to learn to ride her bike, in both the 'speed' stripes (!?) and covering the BasicGrey monogram letters. 

 

SEI's Citrus Kick was an obvious choice to Suz when playing with this photo of her children sitting at their breakfast bench eating like the flawless children i'm sure we all know they're not.  The colours are bright and fresh and somehow breakfast-ey and the epoxy stickers and ribbon are just fun.

 

 

SEI products are sturdy and often quite different to many other products on the market. The epoxy and puff element stickers are a fabulous example of this. Donna often reaches for her collection of SEI stickers when a layout needs a little 'lift' and the patterned papers are generally always the foundation for her work.

 

The bright funky colours of the SEI Smarty range is so eye catching and fun that Jaimie couldn't wait to scrap these crazy pics of her family. By adding the Sass Lass doodle dings with SEI tags, brads & ribbon she has continued with the fun theme of the page.

 

Simple cards are good cards so Jaimie says. By layering the SEI die cut tags with stickers, brads and ribbons Jaimie has created two simple cards for any occasion

 

It's fun to re-vamp an older layout with some new products. The permawriter pen is so easy to use on both cardstock and over your photos.  Maxine has created this gorgeous layout using papers from the Winnie's Wall's range - a classic favourite.

 

Donna created this layout for Scrapbook Creations Magazine using a variety of products, but mostly incorporating SEI patterned papers and SEI So Bold Alphabet stickers. Donna loves the So Bold range of cardstock alpha stickers as they are just so sturdy that they can be painted, distressed or sanded with total ease.

 

This layout, also created by dt member Donna, uses little else, but SEI products. Everything from buttons, tags and frames, pp, epoxy stickers and cardstock alphabet stickers. It just goes to show that SEI products really are quite versatile and perfect for fun, bright layouts such as this. What a cute Sleeping Beauty Donna's eldest daughter is!

 

This stunning layout by SEI Design team member, Maria Burke beautifully demonstrates that SEI layouts don't always need to be bright and bold. The soft, muted tones of this layout highlight the look and feel of photo perfectly!

 

We were immediately struck by the simplistic, uncluttered design and pure 'sweetness' of this particular layout, also by Maria Burke.   Thank you for sharing your beautiful layouts with us, Maria.

design team challenge - four products four ways - jenni bowlin

Jenni Bowlin black and red vintage paper line.  Teamed with some Cosmo Cricket Buck Naked Buttons and Heidi Swapp 'Grunge' Decorative Tape.  The Lil Davis Epoxy Letters just look like they were made for the Jenni Bowlin papers - perfectly colour co-ordinated and a similar 'vintagey' feel.
