we challenged our design team to come up with some cool valentines day ideas, and as ever they didn't disappoint. Enjoy browsing through this plethora of 'lovable' ideas.
Caz created these cute lolly-bag toppers using the Cosmo Cricket Hey Sugar Journaling Cards. Simply fill cellophane bags with your favourite lollies. Fold a piece of white card measuring 16cm x 11cm in half. Attach one of the small journaling blocks to one side of the card. Fold over the open end of the lolly-bag and staple in place.
She also whipped up these quick and easy Valentines Day cards to go with the lolly-bags using the co-ordinating range of Cosmo Cricket Hey Sugar papers, some Heidi Swapp chipboard letters and computer printing.
Chris says that Basic Grey has made scrapping this layout so easy by offering so many co-ordinating products to use, from the pattern papers to the matching rub-ons, buttons and stickers. Chris also road tested the new Basic Grey rub-on roller tool which she gives the big thumbs up to! She found it extremely easy to use and said it applied her rub-ons with not only ease, but also with perfection!
Chris has used the softer Two Scoops papers to create this wedding layout. She has inked the edges of each piece including the cardstock stickers to define each piece and to emphasise the layering of the papers.
The Two Scoops Olio rub-ons are so lovely and create such a wonderful softness on the page. The rub-ons were again applied effortlessly with the new Rub-on roller tool.
SEI's new Chocolat Jolie range of products are beautifully feminine and romantic. Donna decided to create a photo-free layout with a little journaling about her views on love and romance. She has used nothing but SEI for this layout, right down to the new textured cardstock. To say that Jolie is perfectly 'sparkly' and glittery is kind of an understatement. It really must be seen. And touched. Donna has a very new favourite product!
The Scenic Route Loveland range couldn't be more fitting to create memorable valentine or love scrapbooking pages with your photos. Mel and her husband have just celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary so this page seemed appropriate for their family album. The circles have been punched out from a sheet of Loveland Scrap Strip and combined with Valentine chipboard, also from the same range.
The scrapper in Suz just had to take a photo of this chalk message on her garage floor, and Tinkering Ink's Beloved line was the perfect showcase for it. The handcut rose became a focal point though she made use of the co-ordinating alphas and die cut shapes as well.
Steph shows that the valentine theme need not be limited to husbands or partners, here she celebrates the love of her new little one. Steph has punched the co-ordinating papers from the Tinkering Ink Beloved range into circles for this simply gorgeous layout.
