Nicole has loved every Cosmo Cricket range and this one is no exception. The gorgeous primary colours of the Get Happy range suited these fun and energetic photos of her son and his friends perfectly. The quirky and fresh die cuts fit on the blackboard chipboard with ease and the black finish of the chipboard makes adding it to a layout quick and clean with no messy edges. It is even easy to cover with paper. Nicole used the centre of one of the letters to make the little football.
The blackboard chipboard pieces are fantastic. The end result is a more finished-looking edge with no effort!
Nicole loved this Cosmo Cricket range so much that she couldn't resist using it again on another layout! What she loves about this range is that it allows layouts to look boy-ish and 'cool' yet they still maintain the warmth and sentimentality that she loves so much about Cosmo Cricket.
Here Nicole has demonstrated yet another technique using the Cosmo Cricket blackboard chipboard!
Apply colour by drawing over the top with an oil pastel. You can vary how intense the colour is by how much you draw. The result is a funky grungy finish and it was super-easy!
In response to our call for your layouts to share in our weekend inspiration posts, Renee Dowling sent us three stunning layouts using Cosmo Cricket. This is the first of them using the Get Happy range, which showcases this spectacular polar bear photo perfectly.
Cosmo Cricket designer Lisa Falduto shares this delightful little album she has put together using the Get Happy range. How cute are the die cuts and chipboard? Thanks Lisa!
The divine colour palette of the Honey Pie range appealed to Nicole right away as being perfectly suited her daughter Madeleine.
She loved the combination of traditional girly pastel pink and yellow, with the bold red and aqua. The beautiful embroidery-styled patterns appealed strongly to Nic and she made this layout to frame for Madeleine's room.
The Striptease sheet made the base strips and the embellished squares come from the journal cards. A fabulous way to showcase some favourite photos.
Cosmo Cricket creator and designer Julie Comstock shares with us this absolutely delightful layout of her son Jack using the Cogsmo line. We just loved the mix of the blackboard chipboard with the die cuts used across the page, and how gorgeous is the title box? Thanks Julie, we are loving everything you do :)
Another stunning example of Cogsmo by Kristine Davidson utilizes not only the gorgeous die-cuts from the Cogsmo range but also the blackboard chipboard book. Black is the perfect background for the delightful bright colours in this range and being pre-coloured, makes a quick and easy mini album.
Thanks Kristine for allowing us to share your work here :)
And this adorable page by Canadian Kristine Davidson, using the Cogsmo range proves that this range is not just for boys!
We thank Renee Dowling for this layout using more of the Cogsmo line. We love how she has cut out and given the cogs dimension - you almost expect them to start turning on the page!
We just had to share this beautiful page by Lisa Falduto using the Fleuriste range. The Fleuriste range hints at yesteryear without being too old-fashioned. Warm, sentimental and classic, this range suits many different types of layouts and projects. Thanks again Lisa, your work is just stunning!
Last but not least this simple yet stunning layout again by Renee Dowling blew us away. Just a spectacular use of light and shade in the Fleuriste patterned papers, some bling and a fabulous photo guarantees the wow factor on this page. Thanks so much Renee for sending in your work - we look forward to seeing more of it!
