Caz chose the Teresa Collins Designs - Bella Girl papers to do a layout on her eldest daughter now that she has become a teenager. She cut the winged heart from one of the sheets of paper, mounted the heart on chipboard and then curled the ends of the wings up a little to give it even more dimension. The crown was cut from one of the other sheets of patterned paper and mounted above the title. Heidi Swapp bling was added to the points to give it that little bit of extra glamour.
Bella Girl is designed for girls who love girly glam. This collection is chic girly images of crowns …perfect for the queen in all of us. The collection consists of 4, 12x12 papers, double sided for a total of 8 pattern papers and a sheet of die cuts.
While flicking through some magazines, a piece of paper fell out with a quiz Caz’s daughter Jordan did 2 years ago on it. Just simple questions such as ‘how much pocket money do you get?’, ‘What makes you mad?’, “What is your favourite song?’, but things she will probably not remember when she is older. Caz decided to have a play with the Teresa Collins Boardwalk Collection as they matched a photo of Jordan taken at the beach around the same time she took the quiz. Caz cut some of the surfboards from one of the sheets of paper to create a funky border and simply pressed out one of the diecuts to make a stylish photo mat.
Teresa got inspiration for the colours and designs in this line from her time spent in South Carolina as a young girl on the beach and walking the boardwalk. The colours are rich and vibrant and her favourite orange and light blue combination. They are sure to make you look forward to the good ole’ summer days. The collection consists of 4, 12x12 papers, double sided for a total of 8 pattern papers and a sheet of die cuts.
Thanks to Elizabeth Wickland for allowing us to show some pages of the lovely mini album she was inspired to create after looking at the online class on Teresa Collins’ website.
“I got the idea for this little album right off Theresa Collin's website. It's made with her Journal-It line and I LOVE it! It is so different from what I normally do, but I love how easy it was to compile and how much the focus is on my favourite pictures. There are obviously more pages to the album than this, but here's just a sampling...“
Teresa Collins was kind enough to share with us some great projects that she has created using her new Travelogue Collection which has just hit our shores. This is truly a fabulous line and the DT can’t wait to get their hands on to and create some holiday projects.
