Graphic/Fun Design - It's clearly a fun photo, but hmmm, define graphic. Caz used straight clean lines when creating this layout like she usually does. She painted the grungeboard “3” a bright red so that it stands out and looks a little groovy. She then used 3 red elements in a triangle to keep the viewers eye within the page.
You may notice that some of Caz's layouts have no journaling on them to tell the reader what is going on. Sometimes she has so much to say that it would take away from the overall look of the layout or cause the need for large amounts of 'hidden journaling'. She overcomes this by typing up the journaling and sticking it to the back of the layouts. Her kids know to always flip the layouts over to find the words, and as none of her pages are 'still' in albums but in piles all over the house, it's easy to do.
For this challenge Nicole used all Pink Paislee papers, overlay and even stamps. The tree on the Pink Paislee overlay is Nic's fun graphic and she added bling and flocking in the form of Heidi Swapp fuzzy rub-ons and L'il Davis glitter letter rub-ons that she has had in her stash seemingly forever!
The Heidi Swapp rub-ons are actually words cut into letters to form her title. Nic would normally use a bigger photo so found this a challenge, but an interesting one at that!
Here are your entries - again first in thumbnails so you can get an overview. The polls will be up on the left sidebar shortly. Thanks to the brave scrappers who undertook this challenge!
