Carole used plenty of cherryArte pattern paper in her layered flowers and also in her border around the photos, so for a contrast Carole used a Hambly Transparency. Carole loved the vibrant colours of the cherryArte Girl Power Pattern papers for her teen theme. She also used the cherryArte Chipboard Florals for her butterfly.
For this challenge Mel thought it would be fun to document her (almost) teen son's current career choice on a page for him to look back on when he's all grown up. She used three random photos for the layout (one slightly bigger than the challenge called for!) combined with cherryArte papers and rubons. The hospital cross was hand cut out of BOYS BOYS - Striped patterned paper, distressed gently on the edges and hand stitched into place.
In keeping with the challenge, Mel added lots of tiny strips of patterned paper around the outer edge of the page, machine stitching them into position.
Thanks to Kitty Foster for allowing us to share this layout. It's a great example of a multi photo layout with lots of fabulous cherryArte action going on at the same time.
And here are the fabulous entries for this challenge - great to focus on the older kids (or our own past!) for a change!
