Nic has always, loved Cosmo Cricket, with the Hey Sugar line being one of her favourite paper lines ever. However she tried something a little different with this layout in more than one way - firstly, she used Cosmo Cricket Haunted, paired with the softer tones of Cosmo cricket Fleuriste and black embellishments from the Honey Pie range. The neutral in this layout is the Pink Paislee office lingo paper. Secondly though, she created a round layout - something she had never tried before but will do again!
Just in time for your Halloween photos is the Haunted range by Cosmo Cricket. Chock full of blackboard pieces, die cut sticker sheets, journal cards and delicious ribbons, the Haunted range made Nicole literally squeal with delight!
It's no secret that Cosmo Cricket is Nicole's absolute favourite paper brand. She has many that she loves but Cosmo is the paper she falls back on time and time again. There's not one range that has ever been released that she hasn't adored and the Haunted range is no exception. One of Nic's favourite parts of the collection is the ribbon - how gorgeous is that skeleton ribbon?
And the die-cut stickers are the PERFECT fit for the cute chipboard accents. There's no ugly grey edges with the Cosmo blackboard chipboard so putting a page together is quick and easy.
And of course the delicious vintage influence of the Cosmo Cricket Haunted range means you can use it on pages that are NOT Halloween related. There's distressed plains, damask patterns, a woodgrain type finish and many other patterns that will work on layouts of children to adults and a huge array of themes in between.
The Mr Campy range by Cosmo Cricket is a really fun range, full of patterned papers, blackboard shapes, stickers, die cut sheets, journal cards, ribbon, rubons and stamps. To create this layout Mel cut a thick strip of patterned paper and positioned it behind the photograph. A journaling card was used to tell the story behind the photo and a few stickers from the range were positioned either side of the photo to balance the page.
Smaller strips were cut and positioned down the centre of the layout and further journaling was added using Hero Arts Basic Lowercase Alphabet stamps.
You might recognise this already - it was on the cover of For Keeps Creative Paper a couple of months back.
And though there's not a robot in sight, our own fabulously talented Carole Janson created this Sail Boat set using the gorgeous pattern papers and die-cut alphas from the Cosmo Cricket "Cogsmo" range. The vibrant colours are stunning against the white background and great to use on Boy layouts and cards etc.
Kathie Link has kindly shared this layout with us using the Mr Campy range. We loved the distressed paper, (which ties in perfectly with the old black and white photos) the white puffy clouds plus the sweet array of trees and old fashioned caravan lined up on the road.
Another gorgeous layout by the talented Kathie Link using the Mr Campy range. Kathie has also added a little distressing on this page (inking and paper tearing) and cleverly extending the road for the caravan and truck with a little machine stitching. Thankyou so much for sharing Kathie!
It's hard to pin point what it is we love most about this layout by Delaney Gates. From the gorgeous photo to the striking colour scheme of the Cogsmo range of Cosmo Cricket, this layout has it all. We love the pop dotted 'gears' on the layout - thanks for sharing, Delaney!
This layout done by Lauren Rhodes has a really refreshing tone to it, with its gorgeous colour combinations and embellishments. Just beautiful Lauren thankyou for sharing.
This layout by Tracey Locher just screams gorgeous. The layers of beautiful handmade flowers set the scene for a stunning photo. Thanks for sharing, Tracey!
And finally, look closely at this fabulous card from Davinie of Oregon. The gorgeous shapes, the stitching and the use of the varied Cosmo Cricket alphas all made it jump out in the gallery when we spotted it. Thanks for sharing, Davinie!
