Caz loves the beautiful soft colours and subtle patterns in these Pink Paislee papers. She cut out the tree from the Tree House paper and added the gorgeous Love You More flower brads as blossoms on the tree. The tree is then encircled by the Live Out Loud overlay.
Her daughter Jordan is definitely the quietest of all her children yet as the quote suggests - she chooses to live out loud in the fabulous pictures she constantly draws and leaves all over the house. Her quirky nature is usually overshadowed by her more boisterous siblings but when it comes out, Caz is quick to capture it on film.
The Topsiders shapes are FANTASTIC - as you can see here Jaimie has used little else to create this lovely page. By cutting away the excess chipboard and then piecing the shapes together like a jigsaw puzzle Jaimie has put together a pretty corner frame for her photo.
Jaimie has used the Vintage Moon Overlay over her background paper as, she says that the detail on them will make it seem that you have spent hours on your page. The cute little owl was handcut from two sheets of Night Owl paper and layered on top of each other with foam tape to give dimension. What a very cute page.
For this layout Mel has combined patterned papers from the Spring Fling range and adhered them to the top of chipboard circles (Technique Tuesday), slightly sanding the edges. The circles have then been used to emphasis the bounce theme of the layout by layering them on a sheet of Spring Fling Green Lace.
To add some extra interest and shine to the page, Mel has framed the photograph inside a chipboard frame (Technique Tuesday, Technique Tiles, Classic), lightly brushing the chipboard with an inkpad and then adding two layers of clear embossing powder.
Nicole used Pink Paislee's gorgeous Pop Fashion range on this sweet layout of her daughter Madeleine. She started with a base of foiled spots then layered the scallop over the top before finishing with embellishments from Pink Paislee's Office lingo range and Fashion Script letters. She used the foiled rub-ons to partially block out the patterned paper under her title and found that the metallic chipboard by Heidi Swapp was the perfect match!
This little cards was created by Carole, using the gorgeous range of Pink Paislee Spring Fling, some cute little elements created for this card.
The following projects come directly from the Pink Paislee DT themeselves! A big thankyou to the girls at PP for allowing us to showcase your work along with our own talented girls.
Michelle Clement used the new Paislee letter stickers combined with rub-ons to create interest to her title. Michelle says for a vintage look, pull the rubon up halfway and rub haphazardly to make sure you don’t get the whole rub-on down. She then outlined her letters with black pen to make them stand out. Thanks Michelle your technique will be one we cant wait to try.
Mara May Baca created this beautiful page of her and her new baby - Mara says that even though these photos are less than perfect she couldnt wait to scrap as soon as she saw them on her computer she fell in love with them. For her scrapbooking is all about memories, everyday life, love, togetherness and whatever your heart says it is. We totally agree with you Mara - beautiful words and a beautiful page.
This sweet layout by Kathie Link cleverly showcases Vintage Moon patterned papers and an overlay which has been positioned directly over the photograph. We loved the simplicity of the page and the gorgeous photo of Kathie's little boy at 32 months.
Another beautiful layout shared by Kathie Link. This one utilises the bright and funky papers in the Office Lingo range and the series of photos across the front of the page are simply delightful. Notice the placement of the flowers and embellishments, gently following the curve of the circle to complete the layout.
Nicole Harper says that the Vintage Moon range is her favourite release from Pink Paislee so far. Using the transparent overlay Nicole has created this very pretty and striking page with minimal effort or fuss. Nicole says that all she did was lay it on top of a sheet of Full Moon paper for her base.
The flowers are hand-cut from the Moon Pie paper and being that she has never met a striped paper she didn’t love, Nicole added just a touch of the scalloped edge MoonRakers paper along the edge. A splash of paint, sewing title and simple journaling and this page is finished. So easy and so beautiful.
Linda Albrecht created this gorgeous Autumn project using the new Topsiders. Linda says that there are so many possibilities for using them and she actually used both the negative part of the sticker image because she had used that one for another project. Linda layered it onto some of the patterned paper then onto some chipboard and cut around the little border that remains once you pull out the Topsider sticker. It’s like getting 2 for 1!
