Steph doesn't use SEI that often, but after playing with this new release, she realises how versatile the SEI ranges are. The stickers were so easy to apply and really adhered firmly to the base. The contrast of colours in this Black Orchid Range really appealed to Steph, and worked beautifully with her black and white image she built her layout around. The die cuts were also so easy to place and design with and add that subtle accent to a page.
Caz has used paper and die-cuts from the Glitzmas range from SEI to create this page about the fake snow she made for her kids on Christmas Day.
The paper and die-cuts have gorgeous varnish and glitter accents sprinkled through them. The primary colours of red, green and blue make these papers so versatile. They can be used for any occasion.
To create this layout of her daughter's new badge collection Mel used the Susa piece of patterned paper (Oasis collection) and punched out a series of circles to create the loveheart. Some circles were adhered directly to the background, others were lifted slightly with mounting tape and every so often a circle was replaced with an Oasis Decorative Element. The inner loveheart was created by adhering Oasis buttons with dimensional magic and the layout was completed with a title and journaling block (Oasis Decorative Elements).
Nicole F thought this gorgeous flowery paper from SEI's Ally's Wonderland range was way too pretty to cover up so she used small photos, minimal embellishments and a layered title thus allowing the flowers and beautiful colours to do all the girly work for her. While the photos captured a beautiful moment shared between the girls, the very low light of the room they were in left Nicole disappointed by the blurriness of her photos. By printing them small, they give the illusion of being in focus and still manage to show the viewer the captured moment.
Combining the small photos, papers from SEI elements from the new Basic Grey Urban Prairie range means that Nic is able to scrap these gorgeous photos instead of deleting them due to lack of focus.
Chris loved the Poppy papers from the minute she saw them on the website, but she had no idea just how amazingly beautiful they were until she saw them in real life. She says "the foil amongst the patterns give them a gorgeous shimmer - they are divine!" Chris has used the Poppy papers and journalling frame to create this layout of her daughter and nephew playing make believe games. She has also added an appropriate quote from the Been There Done That South Australian rub-ons pack.
Chris also said to mention how fantastic it is that the new SEI ranges have colour co-ordinating textured cardstock and that the papers are double sided to give you even more choice when creating your pages.
For some more inspiration, check out these next two layouts from Fiona Leehane. Fiona has also used the new SEI Poppy range so superbly on both these layouts. Fiona has used the papers, die-cuts and textured cardstock that come with this range to create her layouts. Here is what Fiona says about the Poppy range "These papers are just even more beautiful in real life, they are all shimmery and colourful, really, really nice."
Thank you very much for sharing with us Fiona.
Many thanks to Kathie Link for providing us with this fab layout. Kathie has used the wonderful retro Dill Blossom range of patterned papers and co-ordinating alphas on this cute layout. We love the splash of bright orange which just lifts the whole layout from subtle to striking.
And finally we leave you with a browse through a few layouts that SEI sent through to us to share with you. Thanks to the SEI team for providing this final inspiration.
