As soon as Nic saw this colour scheme she decided a nice mix of BasicGrey Wisteria and Porcelain would be perfect. Both have gorgeous green papers that would mix well with small amounts of the purple and blue to fit the colour scheme. Nic created her base with the BasicGrey papers, but decided to use a green decorative edge paper in the Little Yellow Bicycle Zinnia series to embellish down the right side. A small spray of a blue Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and the base was done.
NIc finished her layout by creating distressed circle flowers from the purple and blue in Wisteria, and a small flourish from Pink Paislee. The title was created with perfectly coloured Heidi Swapp cardstock stickers, (love them in the new booklet!) and a BasicGrey font sprayed with Juniper Glimmer Mist. Although this layout is predominantly green, it is the smaller touches of purple and blue that add contrast. Perfect for the colour scheme Nic was given!
Chris said she loved working with this colour scheme and thought of the SEI Bridgeport range straight away. She put the papers together with this photo of her daughter and her friends getting ready to go to school camp recently. The journalling explains that the friendships have been a bit more challenging this year, but that the group of girls always manage to work it out.
