Jaimie actually had a completely different project for this theme - however when her daughter came out wearing these very funky knee-high socks for school she knew this was a LO in the making! The beauty of the colour palette theme is that there is no limit to product and the amazing thing is just how many manufacturers go together. Jaimie has used a mix of Basic Grey wisteria and Eva as well as Pink Paislee and Hero Arts stamps with a little bit of Heidi Swapp.
The end result is a very cute girly page with the focus on her daughters emerging and very individual fashion sense. The theme word "Ready" has been used in the title as a play on the 'Ready or Not' catch cry.
Chris found that the new Little Yellow Bicycle Zinnia range went quite well with this colour chart and she also used a bit of Crate Paper Prudence and Luxe Simply Turquoise to bring in the other colours. Chris has recently had passport applications done for both her daughters, she used the out take photos for this layout and the prompt word 'ready' for part of her title.
And here’s our readers takes on this potentially tricky colour palette – thanks to all of you for your patience with this post!
