we continue our ‘inspired by’ series this week with website designs and these fabulous examples of how you can find inspiration just about anywhere from Lou and Caz.
Louise confesses to being absolutely creatively smitten with the blog banner slide show that inspired this layout, from the blog of Jasmine Bailey-Barfuss, who is not only a scrapper but also artist and jewellery maker. The blog banner itself is slide show of 4 awesome images; that are simple in design, elegant with a contemporary edge, and totally luscious visual appeal.
Caz loved the large photo and circular tabs along the top of this screen shot that she came across while browsing the internet. She thought the design would be a great base to create a double page showcasing this crazy week full of dancing. Rather than use one large photo she merged 5 photos into one as they have a similar background. The circle tabs contain the dates and performances while the journaling underneath goes into more detail about who danced where and the placings that they came.
