Louise was attracted to this particular album cover purely because of the simple, but strong design. To recreate the CD cover 'look', Louise has used a glimmer screen, coated with cinder glimmer mist, as a stamp. She has then also used machine stitching and coordinated cardstock rings and circles to further embellish the page.To achieve the coordinated circles and rings Louise has applied glimmer mist to Kraft cardstock and then inked the edges.
It’s been more than a year since Suz’s dog ate the bay tree that used to reside in this pot. She knows that she needs to get over it and hopes that creating a layout about it may give her some closure. She chose the Pixies album firstly because it was an arresting and graphic design, but also because it’s top of her playlist at the moment because she’s going to see them in concert this week!
Suz has used Rose Moka paper as her canvas, and a fabulous array of rubons, including SEI’s Juliette Rubons with Gems, and BasicGrey Origins Always Sparkling.
