Caz was a bit stuck thinking of inspiration for this challenge until she remember the photos she had taken of her kids in front of these silos that had been graffitied. They are part of an arts complex and people are allowed to tag them as long as they respect other people artwork. Caz has always been amazed at the detail that people can get from a spray can as she has trouble just pointing it in the right direction normally.
She took photos of her kids posing in front of some of their favorite work and a couple of them pretending to paint using some discarded cans. Her son Jesse was particularly inspired and has sprayed his new skate ramp, and can't work out why Caz wont let him do the back fence as well. The worn look of the BasicGrey papers matches the slightly uneven paintwork. The font Caz chose for the title matches the font on Jesse's shirt and was downloaded from a free font site.
A couple of BasicGrey stickers and chipboard pieces breaks up a very linear page.
Steph has always loved different fonts so when she saw this paper from Webster’s Pages new release it was perfect for this challenge. There are three different fonts on this layout ranging from classic cursive, clean script to enlarged fancy font. The combination of these fonts work so beautifully together giving the project a elegant classic feel, reflected in the sweet photo of Steph's daughter in her tutu feeding the ducks.
