Janine loves to work with bright colours as they add so much energy to a page. A tip she has when using a lot of really bright coloured papers is the intersperse them with dashes of black as this helps to give each colour and design its own space to breathe and shine on the page. It also helps the whole layout to pop out at you. Janine said the Rose Moka range was fun and happy to work with and helped to capture the personality of her vivacious family perfectly as they are a bright and happy bunch.
Janine also created her own floral embellishments using this range by cutting out paper flowers and creating a quilled centre from black cardstock.
Yep, those are flies on his tongue. Little plastic flies that came out of his Idiot Showbag. The Rose Moka Equinoxe line was the perfect, subtle but boyish, showcase for this layout of Suz’s son showing off all the fabulous things loved by 8 year old boys the world over. She used just a simple graphic execution so as not to overwhelm the blue stained tongue, the googly eyes or, of course, the flies.
This and the next two layouts come from the very Talented Jeni Boisvert. Here she has used the gorgeous blues and greens of the Mec range. We love how she has distressed her oversized strips and outlined the star in what looks like folded strips.
Purple is one of those colours you either love or you hate, but we love how Jeni has used it. The Diva range is all about purples and hot pinks and we love Jeni’s fearless use of it on this fabulous glittery page.
And in this layout, Jeni’s use of purple is much more subtle! But we love how it pops against the neutrals in the background. Thanks so much for allowing us to share sample of your work Jeni.
This LO entitled "A Lot of Eggs" shows the Pique Nique range on a great Easter Page by Marie-Josée Guérin who is on the Rose Moka DT.
This LO using Rose Moka's Picque Nicque range by Nathalie Kallbach show how you can add a grungy/ arty feel to the papers by the addition of some paint.
