At a recent birthday party Kathie’s son attended, he got the chance to see a whole load of farm animals, care of a travelling farm that arrived to entertain the children. There were animals ranging from puppies right through to an owl and a baby crocodile. While Jamie wasn’t that keen on petting the baby crocodile (not too surprising really, and probably a healthy aversion to have!), Kathie did snap these shots of him cuddling the rabbit.
The October Afternoon Farm Fresh range is just perfect for layouts about farms, farm animals, farmer’s markets or even growing fresh produce in the backyard. The patterned papers include red gingham, yellow polka dots and old text from a farmyard book. The coordinating wild cards and stickers contain fun farm-related images like the sheep and pig that you can see in the scene at the top of the layout. For the title, Kathie’s used the versatile Mini Market Alpha Stickers from the Thrift Shop range.
October Afternoon is such a lovely range to work with. Sue kept her page relatively simple and utilised the Cherry Hill Die-cuts to create her cluster of embellishments to compliment the cute photos of her daughter Lily, playing at the beach. Sue sanded around the edges of the die-cuts and also shaped and layered them to add interest. A gorgeous Prima flower and butterfly completed the page.
We spotted this layout from Tanya Tahir when it was featured on the October Afternoon Facebook page. It's just adorable! Tanya's used the little boy flying a kite, and his dog, which are from the sticker sheet in the Fly a Kite range. The addition of a cute little pennant banner makes for a totally sweet boys page.
Iris has such a fun style of scrapbooking and uses the October Afternoon Cherry Hill products so well. I love her use of the bird die-cuts to compliment her title. Thanks so much Iris for allowing us to share your pages.
