introducing: quilled creations

A happy new year to all of our customers and loyal blog readers from everyone at Aussie Scrap Source.

We begin our new year by introducing one of our new suppliers - this is a craft that seems to be growing in popularity all the time and something many retailers have been asking for more and more - we proudly introduce Quilled Creations.

We sent out some papers and tools to some of our design team just to start off the new year with some fabulous quilling inspiration.

 

 

 

You can always count on Carole Janson to think outside the box (or in this case, cage..!)  Carole used the gorgeous Quilling Creation Packs to create this cute little Bird Cage, lots of quilling paper colours to choose from to create some really fun projects.

 

 

 

 

Creating these cards was so much fun for Carole using the Quilling Creations Packs (Holidays Ornaments Quilling Pack), all the instructions for these designs are in the pack along with all your Quilling Papers to finish the projects. You can also find all your Tools and many other design along with separate paper packs so take a look and start creating. Carole also used Anna Griffin Calisto pattern paper and Calisto Christmas 3D Postcards Stickers.

 

 

 These fabulous cards were created by Jane Clark who shows that quilling doesn't need to be complicated to be effective.  She has echoed the existing designs in the Crate Paper Bliss line and layered her quilling on top of them.

 

 

Sue is a beginner when it comes to the world of Quilling though you couldn't tell from her cards.  So the Paper Quilling Kit for Dummies was perfect for Sue to start learning! The kit comes with a slotted Quilling Tool, a Circle Sizer Ruler, lots and lots of Quilling paper strips, glue and cards. Included are step by step instructions to help you create lots of beautiful things. Sue chose to create cute little quilled flowers which were lovely for the front of her cards.
