The new Oliver range from Basic Grey was just perfect for this layout about Louise's own little monkey. The masculine colours, combined with the fun animals suit a huge variety of ages and themes, making it a very versatile range.
By basing her layout on some white cardstock, Louise was able to bring the focus back to the photos with careful use of colour and some fun clusters of elements.
Janine loved the fine subtle prints of this line for layering but then she could add bold splashes of colour by hand- cutting out the large flowers from the paper to reflect her main embellishing focal point of the chipboard flowers in the range. She also enjoyed using the co-ordinating decorative tape to add more interest to the page.
Wander is the new travel range by BasicGrey. As you can see in this layout the earthy colours are so versatile that they can be used for many other pages as well as travel ones. That's the beauty of double sided paper! Caz has scrapped a layout about the 2 wild ducks that have chosen to live in her pool this spring.
Iris usually works with bright colors... when asked to create a layout with the BasicGrey Pyrus line, Iris had to think of ways to add more color to the page while still highlighting the beautiful patterns and colors of the Pyrus line. She achieved this by adding bright yellow mists and lime green paint. Adding a few brightly colored felt flowers ties everything together.
