Iris collects clothing tags... especially the ones that are made from fabric and hard kraft boards. When the design team was challenged to create a project using upcycled items, Iris found this to be the perfect opportunity for her to put her collection of tags to use. The twine seen here and the fabric peeking from the cover are from the various tags she included in this mixed media album.
Iris has accumulated a collection of art materials - some have been used, some not even opened yet. Iris wanted to be able to see how these materials will look on paper and fabric and so she created this album, from board sheets that comes from the backing of patterned paper.
She cut the board sheets into 6 x 3 inch tags and covered it with paper from 7 Gypsies Lille and proceeded to apply different art materials on to the tags. This now serves as a guide to her whenever picking up bottles and jars of art supplies for her projects.
