We hope you’re enjoying our 7Gypsies display items series so far. We’re not finished yet but we’re excited to announce that 7Gypsies have sent us a bundle of goodies to give away to one lucky winner who sends us images of their own altered display tray! We’ll give you another week or so to go shopping and alter your 7gypsies display tray or drawer. We’ll put them all up in a post and announce the winner at the end of July. Australian residents only please. Email your pics to [email protected]. If you can’t find a 7Gypsies supplier, please let us know and we’ll try and help you out with a scrapbooking store near you.
Moving right along to Jane’s gorgeous ideas for the 7Gypsies Library Drawer…
Jane made a birthday library drawer for her friends and family. Jane cut up vanilla cardstock to make card files so she can add important details along with the address, such as their favourite colours, flowers, books, themes etc, hopefully to make everyone's birthday cards even more special. Jane covered the outside of the library drawer with the reversed side of (text) 7Gypsies Conservatory Mesofauna paper then she wrapped a strip of calico around it.
The front section was decorated with Conservatory flora and aviary papers from the 8x8in paper pad. Jane cut up vanilla cardstock for her to add these details to.
Jane created this memory jar of her dreams that are now blossoming into butterflies! It’s a slightly kitsch, slightly corny idea, Jane admits, but so beautiful! These were the dreams when she was a young teenager - having children, happiness, opportunity etc. Jane said she used an old Moccona Coffee Jar because Jane is a coffee freak!!
Jane cut the butterflies from 7Gyspies conservation Mesofauna paper and attached them to curly pieces of wire.
