When Danielle reflected on the year that was, one storyline stood out in her mind. She decided to scrap in the style of reviewing the year's developments in the life of her cousin and close friend, as the constant contact between them was a real feature of the year for her. Danielle enjoyed the focussed style of the journaling-heavy page and would like to scrapbook similar 'year in review' style pages for all the members of her family.
From a style perspective, Danielle kept her page simple and freestyle, with plenty of room for her handwritten journaling. Layered elements appear randomly placed but have been carefully selected to lead the eye around the page from the photo, across the title and down the journaling block. Subtle ink splatters add interest to the otherwise plain background.
