The Memory Works Baby Steps range proved irresistible for Janine! She loved the hues of green, brown, yellow, blue and pink to compliment her cute baby photo of her 5th child. The muted and distressed effect on the pages is a perfect fit for her style and she concentrated on the yellow, green and blue for this adorable baby boy page. This range is fabulous for recording your baby month by month as there are gorgeous blocks in the paper dedicated to the first 12 months of a baby's life.
Janine added further distressing to her page by using the new Prima Distress Tool by Ingvild Bolme, to not only distress her paper edges but also add distressing to the edges of her photograph to keep it all in a shabby distressed theme. She finished off the page with cute stickers from the range, the balloon and the title and pop dotted them up for added dimension on the page.
Louise W used a plain kraft card base for this Christmas layout using the Simple Stories kit. She combined diecut stickers with patterned papers and used foam tape and dimensional paint to add detail. To create the icicles she ran a hot glue gun across a teflon sheet and created the icicle shapes before allowing the glue to set before removing and detailing with glitter.
Louise adored this layout form Kristine Davidson using the Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer range from Memory Works. The subtle black outlining around all the elements and dimension of the layering attracts your eye but stops the patterns and colours from being overwhelming.
The Year-O-Graphy range from Simple Stories was perfect for this lovely layout from Nicole Doiron. The stitching and colours work together to add a homespun charm that is accentuated with soft punched borders and sweet chipboard touches. The kite adds a whimsical touch and is finished beautifully with a hint of bakers twine.
