Twine is fast becoming a staple in scrap bookers and Leeann absolutely loves this stuff. Most of the manufactures are jumping on board too, what Leeann really loves is the choice in multiple colors and also thickness. It’s such a versatile product. Check out how Leeann used it. Leeann has used jillibean soup twine and created lasso's by cutting metre lengths and dipping it in some decoupage and then wrapped it around a jar.
Waited for it to dry and peeled it off. Used a clear drying adhesive and framed her photos with it. Leeann finish by hand stitching a running border.
Louise N considers twine to be one of the most versatile products available for scrapbookers. Louise loves the range from Me R Memory Keepers, the colour range is fabulous! For this particular layout has created a 'laced up shoe' effect over her photo, using both the twine and eyelets available from We R Memory Keepers.
Iris Uy loves to add texture in her pages and one great way to do so without adding too much bulk and weight is through the addition of twine. She also makes ribbons and knots from twine and just adheres it to the top of her buttons for a quick and fun way to achieve the look of sewing on her pages with just half the effort.
A big thank you to Julianne McKenna-De Lumen for this fabulous layout which showcases fabulously how twine can be used to created wonderful banners on a layout! It is so bright and eye catching!
Amy Martin created this fun artsy layout using lots of red and lots of paint. According to Amy, paint accents are a fun way to draw the eye! Twine is also a great addition to hang tags or even little pennants, as she did in this layout. Amy’s work have been published in many print publications and was also named as one of the Memory Makers Masters and Creating Keepsakes Hall of Famer.
We love how felicity Wilson has also used her twine creating a lasso and framing the photo. We also love the twine bows, which are a great finishing touch. Thank you so much for sharing you page with us.
We just love the creative way Ashli Oliver has used the twine, weaving it in and out of all the punched bubble holes. Thanks for letting us share your page!
Finally, how pretty is this Tag card, created by Danielle Flanders for the Pink Paislee blog. We love the definition and colour pop the red bakers twine contributes.
