We hope you enjoyed our CHA release posts over the last few weeks. Now we’re back to our scrapbooks, and a new series. It’s been a trying year for many of our design team and we think it’s just as important sometimes to record the lows as well as the highs and happy times. Often though, the stories themselves can be private, or perhaps you don’t want reminding every time you go through an album, so we’re having a look at different ways you can hide your journaling on pages as well.
Suz starts us off with this layout that makes use of a mixture of Studio Calico papers and embellishments from Prima, Bo Bunny and others. She has a strip of handwritten journaling running down the side of the photo and has topped this with a Hambly transparency. This obscures the handwriting but doesn’t hide it completely, so that the reader is aware it’s there. It is attached simply with a Studio Calico paper clip and you can just flip it to one side to read.

Here Suz has used more of her loved Studio Calico ‘Take Note’ papers – she loves the softness of the hues and has layered them in a strip to complement her photos.
