Janine had this family photo taken the day of her Father-in-laws funeral and she wanted to scrap it in memory of her family on that sad occasion. She tried to use embellishments as a form of symbolism on this page, the clock to represent time, the bird to represent spirit, set off by the subtle palette of the Prima Tea Thyme collection to reflect the mood of the day, but still adding lots of beautiful floral details to celebrate the life of a man that loved to garden and share that love of nature and the outdoors with his grandchildren.

When scrapping the "good" moment of her year, Janine felt it was more a combination of smaller moments that she wanted to take time to be grateful for. She recorded the many smaller things on her journalling card, to remind her of those events. Janine really let the Websters Pages "Girl-land" paper lead her in the design of this LO with many hand cut pieces from the paper layered together to create this design.
