Life is full of happy moments but some of the happiest memories Sue has are from when her nieces and nephews were born (and of course Sue’s own children). Sue says that being an Aunty is such a privilege and it is a role that brings her much joy. So with that in mind, Sue created a page using the Crate Paper Little Boy Blue collection, to celebrate the birth of her nephew Iziah. Just looking at this picture, Sue feels happy! Her title ‘bliss’, says it all! Sue created a little vellum envelope, into which she has journalled about how she felt when Iziah was born. Although She doesn’t journal on all her pages, she does feel that it important at times to record those memories and feelings before they are forgotten.

2012 has been a challenging year for Sue Tonga and her family. To be honest, Sue says, at times they have really struggled to see the light. Sue has used some of the gorgeous MME Indie Chic collection to document some of the things that have happened, including her husband’s recent spinal surgery.
Although times have been difficult, Sue has felt overwhelmed by the love and support of her family and friends and has chosen to title her layout, ‘grateful’. Sue’s journaling is fairly private so she has typed it onto a manila tag and tucked it into a pocket on her page. Although Sue isn’t one to usually scrap the hard times, sometimes it can be therapeutic to put these things on record.
