Today we’re thrilled to introduce another new design team member to you – her name is Leanne Whitby and she is a cardmaker extraordinaire! Her shabby style and attention to detail is sublime and, as you’ll see below, one of her cards in the mail would brighten anyone’s day. For her first assignment she is showcasing the beautiful Prima Rosarian collection. We welcome her and look forward to sharing more of her style with you in future posts.
Prima’s 6x6” paper pads are just perfect for card making. The Rosarian colour palette is bright and bold but has enough variation in the colours and patterns to allow you to create cards that are all unique and different. They also lend themselves to be inked, sanded, distressed and torn to add a touch of shabbiness. By adding in some junkyard findings, complementary Prima flowers, handmade miniature flowers, subtle borders and labels from Sizzix and Memory Box dies Leanne’s cards then have that extra special detail about them!

Suz dug some old photos out of a shoebox for this page, of her first trip to Paris many years ago. The range is, of course, Welcome to Paris, and its nostalgic beauty and art deco style is reminiscent of the fabulousness of the city that Suz remembers so well. She has cut out and layered the patterned papers on a background of a texture pasted ArtC damask template, and then added co-ordinating flowers, bling and embellishments that Prima is so good at.

This beautifully layered page was created by Larissa Albernaz from the Prima Design Team. We just adore how she uses the papers, embellishments and flowers in the collection to create this colourful layout.
The talented Erin Blegen has allowed us to share her beautiful take on the Firefly collection. Her design is wonderful and her use of Shabby Chic Resin and colourful flowers make this a truly beautiful Prima piece.
Finally, Felicity Wilson from the Prima Design team put together some beautifully layered cards using the Rosarian collection as well. Her use of the distressing techniques and layering mean her cards are full of detail and a delight to receive.
