Imagine a country and somewhat rustic wedding venue that is surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens, has a Chapel and private garden area, a reception room which is small and intimate. Think about how perfectly it would all work together to make a romantic backdrop for a beautiful, small and pastel inspired lunch time wedding.
This is what inspired Leanne to create her wedding stationary and table decorations for her Wedding Inspiration post using the Graphic 45 Secret Garden collection and some Sizzix Big Shot Pro and Thinlits dies. Designing for a small wedding (50-60) meant that Leanne could invest a little die cutting time into the project.
Leanne has created an invitation set which would all be the same colour scheme using the 12x12 paper range.
The save the date will be the introduction to the heart theme of the wedding. Adding some satin ribbon and pearls gives the stationary a classic feel.
The Sizzix Bigz Pro Die - Scallop Tri-Fold Card was the basis for this invitation. She created the belly band and the RSVP to co-ordinate with the shape of the invite. The layering of the scallop and straight edged hearts together with the hand cut mini fishtail elements finish off the belly band and set the theme for the rest of the wedding’s stationary, décor and thank you gifts.
For the reception Leanne has continued with the heart theme but incorporated all of the pastel colours in the paper range using the 6x6 paper pads to create a pastel themed/decorated reception venue. The Graphic 45 6x6 paper pad contains a series of classic patterned papers which Leanne teamed up with vanilla and kraft cardstock. Each table would have a different colour theme and the decorations around the venue would be a compilation of all these colours.
This is a sample table setting for the rose pink table. The menu is created using the Sizzix Bigz Pro Die - Gate Fold Card #10 which formed its own stand when used backward. The thank you gift was cut using Sizzix Bigz Pro Die - Tall Bag which she then trimmed a little. This little bag is just perfect for almost any type of thank you gift you would like to give. Leanne also made use of her left over paper scraps by creating hand punch table confetti.
