Janine loved the vibrancy of the Collage Press Sweet Shoppe range. She felt inspired by the die-cuts in the range and layered them on top of each other as well as using them singularly to embellish her page. To add a bit more texture, Janine also incorporated some Websters Bloomers and some Zva fabric brads.

 

We would like to say a big thankyou to Tonya from the USA for letting us share this simple but eye-catching layout about her Hubby and Son using the Jackson Lodge range from Collage Press. Tonya has a "thing" for blue and orange together. Doesn't really matter what shades but that colour combination just makes her happy.

 

 

How gorgeous is this baby boy banner created by Lisa from Arizona for a baby shower she organised. Lisa strung together some of the Collage Press Alphabet Cards and added some little decorative touches to each of them. Such a simple but effective idea, thanks Lisa.

 

We loved this layout by Tonya from Oregon using the older Camden range of papers from Collage Press. Just look at all the details, the jewelled paper border, the folded paper star and the button and ribbon embellishments. Simply gorgeous, thanks for sharing with our readers Tonya.

 

 

Lisa Toronto has created this classic designed LO from Collage Press papers. She has added extra dimension to the page by punching out paper flowers from the same paper and then pop dotting them onto the same paper. Subtle but effective addition to her page.

It’s ABBA, and it’s corny, and it was never a song that Suz knew in the golden olden ABBA days – the first time she heard ‘Slipping Through My Fingers’ was at Mamma Mia the Musical.  As she surreptitiously wiped away the odd tear or two, she knew this was a song she related to, and often words from it pop into her mind as she waves the kids off to school.  So when this challenge came up, just after the kids had started their new year at school, Suz knew it was time to scrap it.

She has used an eclectic mix of Collage Press, Hambly, and 7Gyspies papers, alongside Heidi Swapp butterflies and Websters embellishments, which include that gorgeous canvas circle offset in the centre of her layout, and of course the fab letter stickers.

 

 

Nicole's layouts are often inspired by song titles and lyrics so she finds herself listening carefully to music looking for her next idea. Having recently attended a concert by one of her all-time favourite bands Pixies, she wanted to use one of their songs for this challenge.

The song "La La Love You" is a particular sentimental favourite to Nic as it's a song she used to sing with her son when he was much younger than now, mostly because his little sister, unable to say his name, nicknamed him "La La". The family still have no idea why she chose "La La" but it stuck and this song became a sort of anthem to the family's younger years. A particularly beautiful story that Nicole felt compelled to scrapbook.

As soon as Louise saw the new College Press Joyride range she was in no doubt that Scrappers would be excited to get their hands on it. It is such a fun, funky colourful range that is excitingly versatile! The coordinated Die Cut papers, chipboard stickers, alpha stickers, and Journal cuts offer a huge variety of design possibilities; and not just for scrapping your christmas photos and memories.

Jaimie has made no secret of her continual search for ranges that suit teen boy projects and Collage Press has outdone themselves with the Knave of Hearts range. The subdued colour palette is given pop with the strong reds and the packs have all you need to create many projects for that teen/tween in your family. Lots of patterns to cut out and layer in this range and Jaimie has created a cluster embellishment around her photo by using the diecuts that come in the range.

Layered strips from the paper pack create a border along with the circle cut out which frames her journalling. This range definitely has the thumbs up from us. A lovely strong masculine page.

The Sweet Shoppe range by Collage Press is the perfect mix of a candy-coloured palette with a Retro influence. Delicious warm brown and orange combined with candy pink and bright green and blue are fun and funky and perfect for these birthday photos of Nicole's daughter Madeleine. Nic found this one of the easiest paper ranges she has worked with for a while and used elements from the new die-cut circle sheet along with die-cut labels and flowers.

A strip of Hambly circles, a touch of pink cotton lace from Webster's Pages and a touch of handstitching finishes Nicole's layout beautifully.

Nic Howard has outdone herself yet again. Her beautiful design and layers allow the viewer to find something more with each look. Nic says that Collage Press has some of her favourite papers right now and she loves the Knave of Hearts collection. So do we! Thanks Nic

Jill Sprott from Oahu, Hawaii has kindly let us show her page using the Knave of Hearts range. Jills border from the die cuts that sits under the photo is lovely as is the 'connected' circles on either side of her title to mirror the intertwined circles that sit behind her picture. As soon as Nic H saw the 'Knave of Hearts' collection from Collage Press, she knew it would become a firm favourite. Knave of Hearts has everything Nic loves about a paper line. It's filled with reds, teals, ledger colours, swirls and has the occasional splash of green to brighten up your projects. It has an element of grunge, which makes it perfect for those 'guy' pages, but it is pretty enough to be used with girlie pictures as well, and that is where Nic started creating.

 

Not just a pretty face - it's a whole lot of favourite papers too! Nic started with a base of the Knave of Hearts papers and added a layer of Aussie Scrap Source white cardstock on top. A quick spray of Turquoise glimmermist to add a little interest and a pop of colour and Nic was ready to start adding strips of paper on top.

A few small embellishments, including more of those Collage Cuts (see those red dots? Nic popped them out and dropped them on the layout and that is where they landed... don't ya love it when it works like that?!). She finished the layout with some of the matching alphas from the Knave of Hearts collection and a new Hambly transparency to add that block of black.

When Nic first got these papers she said "This may be my most favouritist collection ever!" It is a collection that suits a wide range of scrappers, and I could definitely see why Nic loved it. All the easily used embellishments are a bonus to a collection that just screams out "grab your guy pictures!" but as you can see it's not limited to just pics of your favourite boy. Nic has quite beautifully scrapped an album for her daughter .

Knave of Hearts is a collection that will suit a variety of topics for all sorts of scrappers. If Knave of Hearts is this versatile, we look forward to seeing what they release at the next CHA!

Layer upon layer of slightly grungy papers with splashes of contrast - especially red, that is Nic's favourite scenario and this layout is no exception!

Nic combined many different Knave of Hearts papers along with one of the new Collage Press Zig Zag diecut papers to create this layout. Take a look at the details, it was so easy to add interest with the Collage Cuts that go along with this line, just pop 'em out and place them on the layout!

 

 

             

This 6x6 mini album is a white chipboard version by Little Yellow Bicycle. Nic used her Black Stazon ink pad directly on each page to make it black - black was the colour she wanted to create contrast with the reds and ledger colours of the Collage Press Collection.

She decided on some of Abby's favourite photos - they are ones Nic has scrapped before but Abby wanted an album for herself. The album was aptly named 'Hand in Hand" with the inside page reading "A Collection of Fav photos for Abby".

This is an idea that is perfect as a gift or for the kids, Abby treasures her pictures and keeps the book on her bedside table. Note that Nic has left a few gaps to add further photos - she just didn't want to stop the creating and may also add extra pages in the future!

Collage Press has thought of it all when designing this collection, from the double sided papers, to the way the papers all work beautifully together, to the coordinating embellishments. Nic used a lot of the die-cut journaling cuts in this album, making it really quick and easy to complete. Most pages include a background paper, a few strips of contrasting colour, some journaling blocks and the occasional punched heart! Jewels and pearls from BasicGrey add interest all the way through.

Carole reports that these papers by Collage Press are simply stunning, the colours are gorgeous. Carole used the Camden range of patterned papers to create her typically three-dimensional layout, as well as the co-ordinating diecuts, tags and journal sheets to highlight this layout.  She created wonderfully textured three-dimensional flowers created from the Island Retreat patterned paper and some buttons.

Carole used a holiday photo for this layout, but you could use absolutely anything as these papers are so versatile. Carole also added touches of blue to highlight the red and some stitching and a little inking.

 

 

 

Using products from Jackson Lodge range by Collage Press, Nicole created this gorgeous layout with ease. The subtle patterns made the perfect background to start and then Nicole hand cut some of the large patterns from the other papers to soften the edges. She found the heavier weight of the papers made edges easy to ink and distress and the letter stickers are gorgeous - the perfect sizes and lovely colours.

She used elements from the die cut tag sheet and a journal card then finished off with brads from Crate Paper and rub-ons from the Been There Done That range. Sometimes we need to create practical and factual layouts of events and this range makes it simple.

 

 

Chris was itching to use the Margot range as it suits her style and colour preference perfectly! Combining the gorgeous papers with some Heidi Swapp bling, some felt shapes from Jenni Bowlin and Queen and Co. Chris then 'tied' it altogether with the crisp white ribbon from Strano. Chris said she also loved the huge alpha sticker sheet that comes with the Collage Press ranges and she was easily able to put together a two tone title.

Our own Aussie talent, Renee Dowling has recently been appointed to the Collage Press design team.  Her talent isn't new to us, as she treated us to astounding layouts almost every week of our Whose Layout Is It Anyway series and we're not surprised she has been recognised internationally now too!

As one of her first projects for Collage Press, Renee created this delicious sweets box from the Camden range.  Here has used the papers, alphabet stickers, die cuts and stamps.

 

She also shares with us this stunning layout using the wonderfully masculine colours of the recently released Jackson Lodge range.  We're constantly struck by her strong sense of design mixed with just a touch of whimsy.  Thanks Renee, for allowing us to share your projects here.
