Step 1
Take clay out of package and work fairly quickly (do not condition clay unless hand rolling-roll to 1/8 of inch)
Run through pasta machine and gently pull apart to get full length
Step 2
Cut length wise in 1inch strips. Then cut into 4 inch or longer strips
Step 3
Place paper towels down and gently stack all of the cut clay together
Lay 2-3 strips of cut clay on a paper towel and stamp all over with an assortment of stamps
Set aside and do 2-3 more strips until done. Once all the clay is done let it dry for 20-30 minutes
Step 4

Dry with hot gun…
Step 5
Lay Ranger Craft Sheet paper down and a layer of paper towel. Work with one clay strip at a time. Spray half of the strip with LuminArte Radiant Rain Spray Mister and the other half with Radiant Rain Dauber with mister top replacing the dauber top
Step 6
Dry with heat gun (do not boil paint) going from one direction to the other to create a blend of colors in the middle of strip. Colors will appear darker; however, this will change when finish is applied
Step 7
Rub several LuminArte mica colors and pure pigment colors on surface of clay with your fingers, moving into the grooves of the stamp
Step 8
Spray with fixative and let dry. Place tray in front of you and cut strips in a Quilt Pattern or puzzle. Design your layout.
Step 9
Use your permanent marker and do all the edges of the clay pieces. Put them back in your original layout as you complete each one
Step 10
Apply glue to the back of a clay piece (distribute glue evenly). Continue until all pieces are done
Step 12-
Spray clear fixative onto tray and and allow to dry for an hour
Step 13
For that ‘high’ glossy finish, prepare Enviro Tech -2 part resin and follow directions on box. Once glue is dry on clay pieces, mix the 2 part resin together. Mix back and forth from cup to cup Should be milky (do not be afraid of the bubbles). Mix approximately 5 minutes (very important). Pour epoxy over tray
Use you torch and run over the surface to pop the bubbles. Do this every 10 minutes until it starts to set-up. Let it dry in an area that is the most dust free and least traffic for 24 hours untouched. Total drying time is 72 hours.
