weekend inspiration: jillibean soup

 

Jillibean Soup is one of Leeann's favorite  companies. And even more so now as they have added so much more to their collection packs. It is jam packed full of papers, diecuts and stickers. Allowing you to just create page after page. For this page Leeann has used the cucumber soup collection. Creating plenty of layers using the papers, die-cuts and a torn piece of lattice Kraft placemat.

What is not to love about the Irish Farm House Soup range of paper and embellishments from Jillibean Soup. As always they are coordinated perfectly and suit any theme of layout and or memory to be recorded. Louise has documented her memory of catching up with 3 fabulous scrapbooking fiends who attended and taught workshops at a recent scrapbooking retreat.

weekend inspiration: authentique

 

Sue loved the beautiful blue tones in the Renew collection from Authentique and created almost a monotone page by layering the different patterned papers.  The yellow in the flowers gave the little pop of colour that the layout needed.  Sue teamed the collection with photos of her son Bailey, hanging out with their pet cockatiel named 'Lollipop'.  They were taken on yet another rainy day spent cooped up inside.

Jane layered one of the frame stickers on cream card then cut a smaller square frame out of the centre, back it with one of the pretty papers then arranged a selection of the stickers in the bottom right-hand corners . Jane said that these stickers are perfect for layering and creating cute little clusters on cards!!

Jane had trouble choosing from the beautiful vintage collection of images on the Greeting sheet but after watch a Jane Austin movie recently this one stood out the most to her! She added a William Shakespeare quote sticker at the bottom for the sentiment then stripes of the black and white scalloped sticker below it to add more detail to her card.

weekend inspiration: bella blvd

 

 

Kim has used the Surf's Up range from Bella Blvd to create this great beach themed layout. Although the range has includes pink throughout, Kim says it was very easy to create a layout with no pink at all (since it featured her son and father-in-law).  Kim loves the Bella Blvd paper tapes and used them to create a one of a kind border on this layout by layering a variety of different tapes.  Kim says she particularly likes Bella Blvd paper tapes as they are a heavier weight than washi tape and can be removed and restuck easily.

These bright funky papers are fantastic to make a hip looking wedding card!! Jane stuck a cute little flag in one of the chipboard icon stickers, cut a sentiment from the vows paper and layered that on the card with some Washi tape.

When Jane popped out the letters from the chipboard icon sheet she loved the look that remained, so she just had to make a card with it!! She trim it and back it with the cloud paper, inserted a flag inside the ‘W’ and glued a couple within the ‘D’ section.

We’re big fans of the double layout here, and this one by Diane Payne can’t help but make us smile.  She has used the appropriately titled Sunshine and Happiness collection to create this double page with sequential photos.

 

 

How sweet indeed is this layout by the talented Malika Kelly.  She has used a mixture of collections to create the random pattern on this page, and notes how easy it is to mix and match the Bella Blvd ranges and still achieve harmony. 

 

We loved the green and blue tones on the strong dark cardstock base in this gorgeous layout by Bella Blvd DT member Megan Klauer. She says that the inspiration came from some of the Designer Tapes which were just bunched together in a basket.. a happy accident that created a striking page.

 

Finally these wonderfully happy cards were created by Gretchen McElveen.  We love her colour palette and the use of the pale greys from the Love & Marriage line that makes the brighter colours pop.

Louise created this bright layout using Heidi Swapp's Vintage Chic papers, combining them with a mixture of Prima for interest. She's based it on a Pagemaps sketch, adding her own touches to personalise it further.

The Heidi Swapp Colour Pop products are amazing and such fun to work with! Since it comes with a resist pattern, you can easily swipe some colour on and watch the colours and patterns pop up from the white papers! The possibilities are just endless. Iris Uy shows us here how she utilized different lines from the Heidi Swapp collections to create this fun and colourful page.

Gail Lindner is a long-time Aussie scrapper who is always inspired by photos and the stories she wants to tell. For her daughter's first day of school, she wrote her a letter and wanted to include it on a scrapbook layout. She knew she wanted to use soft, pastel colours and the Heidi Swapp Serendipity line was perfect! Gail converted the photos to black and white to suit the soft colour palette. She used a simple grid design with the photos and a block of cardstock which she then embellished using colours pulled from the patterned paper. The cardstock "flaps" lift up to reveal the heartfelt journaling.

 

 

This stunning page was created by Missy Whidden from Florida, USA.  Missy has been married for 13 years and has two beautiful daughters, ages 6 and 4.  Missy is a stay-at-home mom and a fitness instructor.  She began scrapping in the summer of 2006 when her mother-in-law asked her to help create a scrapbook for her husband.  Missy was instantly hooked and began scrapping all of their travel photos.  Missy’s first daughter was born a few months later, and she scrapped every photo she took of her!  Missy now looks at scrapping as a part of her daily therapy. She loves paints, mists, washi tape, patterned paper...it's all just amazing!

Iris had a blast with the beautiful vellum polaroid frames from Studio Calico. It was solid and vibrant enough to create stunning frames for photos, but since it was vellum and sheer, it also looked beautiful layered . The background was created by smearing texture pastes over Studio Calico Stencils.

To create this page, Iris used a two-step stencil from Studio Calico and applied two colors of mists, allowing it to blend in the middle to create a third colour. She then added Studio Calico fabrips to frame the pattern created with the stencil. Bits and pieces of rub-ons and die-cuts were used to embellish the circle patterns in the stencil.

Jill has used the Studio Calico Here and There pack to create a "Things to be Grateful For" Album to keep on hand.
By folding the Tag Album, painting on gesso and then spraying with the Mister Huey's mist, she has used that as the colour theme for the album which has been stitched together with complementary sheer ribbon.

Kathleen Graumüller is a 24-year old soon-to-be teacher from Germany, who discovered the world of scrapbooking some time in 2010. This layout features beautiful products from Studio Calico which has been beautifully utilized to create a page for one of her favourite photos of her love and herself, in their absolute favourite city in the world - Barcelona. They are head over heels in-love with this city and she enjoyed scrapping all of the memories they made there! She likes to incorporate white space in her layouts, but also love to mix different patterns, which is why she often uses the layering technique. Kathleen is likewise fond of adding some splatters of mist and some tags and labels here and there to complete the look of her page.

 

Sandy Ang is a paper-based crafter from the sunny, little island of Singapore. A cardmaker, scrapper and off-the-page project creator, she loves playing with lines and shapes to produce layered, textural and often dimensional items. In this fun layout she shared with us, Sandy mixed a number of Studio Calico elements to scrap these photos taken at a local car show of a 1965 Vespa Grand Sport. The basic design is a long vertical column intersected by a broad horizontal row. To create variety, Sandy split up the row into bands of different lengths and split the column into three segments with the photos in the bottom and an embellishment cluster on top. Louise W created this layout using the So Noted range from Carta Bella. She's combined some Prima stamps with various frames to build a stacked block look to the cluster of photos and elements, adding focus but leaving white space and balance on the page.

This second layout from Louise was also created using the So Noted range from Carta Bella. She's created a soft watercolour background and while wet, torn strips which she's used in pieces around the photo edge to add colour and interest. She has finished the layout using a circle of Zazz glitter glue, created with a Crafters Workshop template.

The Cool Summer Collection from Carta Bella is gorgeous! The collection has very cute iconic summer images and pretty patterns. The colour palette has all your soft gelato colours of your favourite ice cream flavours. This whimsical and fun filled collection is perfect for card making and scrapbooking projects.  Leanne had a lot of fun with the bright patterned papers creating these three cards.

 

 

Leanne felt the very cute cloud paper made the perfect backdrop for this card.  After creating the pinwheel by hand from a 2 inch square Leanne then used pinking shears to create extra strips to decorate the tips of the pinwheel from the co-ordinating papers in the 6x6 paper pad.  She used the stickers to personalise the card and also added some additional trims from her stash. To frame her card Leanne hand stitched and distressed the edge of the card front. .Leanne liked the way the beautiful soft pastels really work well together in these papers.

 

 

 

The classic combination of pink and brown is one of Leanne’s favourites.  To make this card she combined these colours with a hint a turquoise found in the striped paper she chose.  Using cloud dies to form the top of the cupcake and her trusty paper crimper for the bottom cupcake started to take shape.  To finish it off she rolled a strip of paper around some twine to form a candle for on top of the cake.   The good times ticket together with a couple of hand cut flags and a light application of some crystal glitter glue finished off the card.  Leanne has used foam mounting tape under the good times ticket and cupcake top to add some dimension to her card.

 

Spots and checks are featured right throughout this collection and on this card Leanne used the multi spot paper together with a soft floral turquoise and plain pink to create this card.  The inclusion of plain coloured paper in the 6x6 pad takes all the hassle out of colour matching your paper to cardstock.  Leanne also used the greens and browns in the plain papers to create perfectly matched punched leaves as well.  The die cut Sizzix border was trimmed and some crinkle ribbon was threaded through the punched edging of the border.  To finish off the card Leanne used her distress tool and folded and sanded the paper to reveal the white paper border and applied glitter to the matching buttons.

The very talented Jen Chapin from the Carta Bella Design Team created this stunning layout using the Cool Summer collection.  You can see how well she has used scraps of patterned paper to frame the photo. Her selection of embellishments includes chipboard pieces and brads from the Cool Summer collection. She has also added some machine stitching and used foam mounting tape to add dimension.  Thank you so much for sharing your layout with us Jen!

 

Natasja Verbeek, another one of the clever Carta Bella Design Team members, has also used the cool summer range for this gorgeous layout!  Natasja has used similar papers from the Cool Summer but given them a completely different look.  Using a plain coloured base and die cutting and hand cutting the clouds she has created her own distinctive look.  Incorporating patterns behind her die cut layer added dimension as well.  The layout has lots of dimension with the foaming up of the clouds and the clustering of stickers and embellishments.  It’s great to see just how versatile the collection is – thank you Natasja for sharing your layout with us too!

weekend inspiration: inkadinkado

 

 

Louise combined the large circle and stamping gear with one of the classic ornaments stamps from Inkadinkado to create a subtle frame for this sweet layout. She used a pigment ink to ensure the border stood out when it was sprayed with glimmer mist, rather than be covered and lost. She's combined a small cluster of mixed mediums to add sparkle and a focal point while the Paper Loft papers add a sturdy and clean base in tones that tie in with the photograph.

Jill has used the Inkadinkadoo stamping gear to create a gorgeous giant bloom which she has used as special gift wrapping.  By using the gears, repeating the pattern on four complementary papers and curling the "petals" this creates a real impact for special gift wrapping.

Leslie Kamm has used the Inkadinkado Stamping Gear to add focal points to these two lovely layouts. The circular pattern has been repeated in other elements in the page, making them balanced and harmonious.

Stacey used Prima’s Rondelle collection to create these two very different pages full of layers of gorgeous detail.  She has focused on two different colour palettes from the same pages to give very different looks to her layouts.

What is not to love about the new release Prima Sunrise Sunset range. the vintage trinkets coordinate perfectly with the grungy patterned paper range and metallic coloured flowers. Mix in a little paint media and you have a fun and fab layout design.

Jane stamp this adorable image on one of the papers from the A4 pad using a brown ink, she cut it out and arrange it on her card with a collection Divine flowers. The diamante frame was cut from the crystal sheet and a part of the packaging was added behind it.

Simple Stories Vintage Bliss line is full of colour, clouds and vibrant typography, three elements Danielle really enjoyed featuring in her scrapbook page. With this design, words have as much a place in the design as the photo does! Danielle used various journaling card and feature strips from the Vintage Bliss line, and particularly loved the patterned paper full of large, patterned alphabet letters. Here she used this for her main title, a primary feature of the page.

Kim's favourite scrapbooking brand is Simple Stories.  She has loved every range they have released and 24/seven was no exception.  In fact, she loved it so much, she created these three beautiful layouts using the 24/seven collection kit.  Kim comments that she loves the huge range of embellishments that come with every range, making it easy to quickly put together perfectly coordinated layouts.  The 24/seven range features lots of word embellishments which Kim particularly loves.

Simple Stories Design Team member created the above layouts to record her daughters' birthday party using the beautiful Vintage Bliss line.  She decided to use the page protector route just because she had so many photos she wanted to include, and the softness of the Vintage Bliss papers allow the photos to stand out perfectly.

Louise without a doubt loves to use templates and media to create individualised backgrounds for her layouts. The new release designs from The Crafters workshop are just fabulous, especially this ne design from designer Ronda Palazzari.

Jill has transformed the Graphic 45 Matchbook Box into a 3D wall hanging that would be perfect for any budding ballerinas.  She found the Graphic 45 Nutcracker Suite papers so versatile - and definitely not only for Christmas creations.

Jane stamped the corner of her folded vanilla card with the floral stamp using olive ink then stamped the decorative border across the centre in black. She cut out one of the labels from the Meadow Lark paper, scalped around the top edges of the forget-me-not flowers on it then insert stamped and cut out images of the  bird and nest, more flowers were cut from the Beautiful Blooms paper and added on top.

The May Flowers sheet of paper is just adorable and well suited for making easy and beautiful cards. Jane simply layered it on card and the pretty Sun Kissed paper, she added stitches to the top left and bottom right-hand corners. The Flower pop-out sheet is a great way to make wonderful flower embellishments, so quick and easy! Just pop them out, layer them together, curl up the edges and viola you’re done!

The American Crafts brand is well known for it's colourful collections and cute embellishments.  Stacey had so much fun creating this layout of her son and his doggy.  She loved the colours of the Amy Tangerine Yes Please collection but also popped in a touch of lime green.  The Zazz Glitter Glue was also another great addition to her layout.  Everyone loves a bit of sparkle right?

Jane trimmed a jar, envelope and the word ‘hello’ from the papers and used them as embellishments for her card. Jars are so on trend at the moment and so are the colours in this range.

Jane trimmed two panels from the This & That paper and layered them on the Collector paper which has a great stressed look! Jane then cut a word from the Blue Skies paper and then finished her sentiment on her card using Wish Thickers.

Stacey loved everything about the On Trend collection.  She loved the bold colours and prints and especially the gorgeous Chipboard pieces.  She pulled the royal blue and magenta colours out of the papers and splashed about with some misting.  The photo always being her focus, she layered a photo mat for her sweet Master 5 to sit on.

Crate Paper remains to be one of Iris' top favorites. She loves the whimsical theme and the colourful and striking elements of their collections. In this layout, Iris used elements from the Ephemera pack and the Mini-Album pack. She cut-out the lens area of the camera die-cut and slid under a photo of her daughter. A perfect snapshot!

Iris created for us a 2nd layout using the same Maggie Holmes Collection. Again she took elements from the Ephemera Pack and the Mini-Album pack. The small camera patterns were hand-cut from patterned paper and was used as embellishments.

Danielle created these two fun layouts using Crate's Acorn Avenue.  She has made the most of the happy colour palettes and carefree themes with her whimsical random style.

 

DIY Shop is a collection of vintage inspired papers that are so beautifully versatile you can use it for any tye of project - male, female, seasonal etc.  The collection has the usual signature Crate Paper items scrappers and card makers love: wood, numbers, days of the week, months, Crate flowers, doilies and a vintage ephemera pack.  Leanne has chosen to work with some of the 12x12 patterned papers from this range to create four cards.

Drawn to the vintage haberdashery themed accent on the cut out sheet, Leanne made it a feature on this centre step card.  To tie in with the vintage feel of the range Leanne spritzed, scrunched and iron dried her papers to get them to mimic fabric.  She also hand died the crinkle ribbon to give it a distressed look.

 

This card features some of the smaller patterned papers which are perfect for card making.  By using the elements on the cut out sheet Leanne was able to create matching borders to add to the card.

 

This card was really quick to put together thanks to the “Thank You” sentiment featured on one of the cut out panels.  Leanne hand cut some fishtail banners and added some pearls.

 

 

The rustic look of the wood grain inspired Leanne to get out her dies and create this card. To add an additional element of interest to the front of the card front Leanne used the Sizzix Bigz XL Die - Card Fronts, Bracket & Ticket.

Tamara Tripodi created this adorable layout using the DIY Shop papers.  The neutral toning and small floral print work really well together.  Tamara had so much fun creating this layout and you can read her comical account over on her blog.  Thanks for sharing this layout with us Tamara!

 

We have some wonderful inspiration coming all the way from Singapore. Jeanette Lee started scrapbooking since November 2008, with the initial intention of only making Christmas presents for friends. The love for scrapbooking slowly developed and right now, it has become more than just a regular hobby.  This layout was an experiment with the 'blocking' technique. Jeanette assembled each section with layers and embellishments while making them cohesive as an overall layout. To create the title, Jeanette used one of her favourite stamps, stamped it on a tag and used it as the title.

 

 

The 3 photos here were the inspiration behind the title. Being able to eat local food in a foreign country felt like home. She placed white stickers on each photo to ensure that the eyes run vertically down the page. A polaroid frame is meant to place a photo but in this case, Jeanette decided that it could be used to layer elements both behind and on the front of the frame. There are bits of confetti too, if you look closely. Thank you Jeanette for sharing with us your beautiful work! Kaori, a member of the Crate Paper design team, has created these two gorgeous layouts.  Both using almost the same products from the On Trend collection, yet both are completely different.  Thankyou for letting us share your inspirational work Kaori.

 

 

All the way from Germany, Janna Werner from the Crate Paper Design Team has allowed us to share her creative page using a mix of Acorn Ave and On Trend.  Her design is so appealing and it's lovely to see the muted tones of the collections used as well.

 

 

Janna also created this very cute layout featuring the Maggie Holmes collection and some Silhouette die cut elements.  Jana has used both the negative and the positive of some of the images she die cut, it’s a great example of how you can mix different elements on your page.  Jana has also outlined some of the shapes with a black pen, to add more dimension.  The layout also highlights the versatility of the collection as all the patterned, floral and background elements co-ordinate beautifully.

weekend inspiration: basicgrey

 

 

Iris did not use any patterned papers for this layout. Instead of going the usual route of creating a foundation for the page using patterned papers, Iris created a rich textured base with stencils, mediums, and Luminarte Silk Paints. This was for her, the perfect base to show off the fabulous line of embellishments from the new "Fact and Fiction" line.

Here is another example of how one can create a page using mostly embellishments from BasicGrey. Iris used embellishments and only one sheet of paper from the "What's Up" line yet you can see so much detail and texture in this layout.

Hipster is a ‘totally awesome’ line for boys in particular and life in general, with a limited muted colour palette perfect for when the boys get past the cutesy toddler stuff.  Here Suz chose to team it with a black and white photo of her son and recount a story about him in journalling strips in one of the file folders.  The embellishments, including brass paper clips and wood veneer words and shapes, tie in perfectly.

Kelly Noel on the BasicGrey design team brought some fabulous brightness to the Hipster line by combining it with some of the more vibrant colours from the Hey Boy range.  We love how she has used the Candy Buttons to add highlights.

 

 

We thank the master of mixing and matching for this beautiful example of combining the Hipster line with the pretty florals of the Mint Julep range to create this gorgeous page.

 

 

When Pia Lopez starting scrapbooking, one of the very first paper brands she fell in-love with was BasicGrey. It still is one of her favourites today as you can see in this stunning layout she made about her newborn daughter. The "Kissing Booth" line is a much older release from BasicGrey but still remains to be trendy up to this day. Thank you Pia for sharing with us this beautiful layout!

 

 

Kim Jeffress is on the DT for BasicGrey and she is just perfect for them. She loves that their products, papers, and embellishments are so varied. She has two boys so she is not really a flowery scrapper. The geometric patterns and bold colours are just perfect for her gorgeous style.

 

 

This very fun and energetic layout was created by Kim to record his son's first days at Kindergarten. She loves the bright happy oranges and  limes and she thought that the alphabet paper was just perfect for these first day photos.

Danielle adored the Glitz Color Me Happy bright and happy range of products. For this layout, she paired paper layers with patterned paper, whatnots and washi tape for a vibrant, warm and happy page about her son and their new puppy.
A touch of doodling, plus a couple of rubber stamps from Glitz Designs Uncharted Waters range, add a casually arty feel. This page was a lot of fun!

Jane just loves to fussy cut! She cut a small whale image from one of the Unchartered Waters 6x6 papers then cut one of the panels from  Bits & Pieces paper, she cut across the tops of the waves using a scalpel then sat the whale image slightly inside the waves so it looks like it’s swimming! Jane added one of the giant rhinestones over her gauze trim which added a great sparkly effect to the card.

With the ‘Love You’ card Jane trimmed one of the Journaling stickers from the sheet leaving the backing piece on, she then used a circle die to cut it and created a frame,  the outer edges of each seahorse was cut using a scalpel then the sticker frame was place around them as shown. The words were trim and a section was placed over one of the giant rhinestones.

Danielle loved the old fashioned roses and film-style photography in Prima's Hello Pastel paper collection, and based her layout on this soft feel. Touches of green, aqua, teal and yellow add a playful touch, with a slightly rustic feel from the vintage mechanicals. Danielle recommends the washi tape for touches of colour and pattern at random on your projects!

Sue has designed this layout using the lovely Divine collection from Prima.  The Divine collection was designed by Jodie Lee and is a beautiful Shabby Chic range with pretty feminine images.  Sue used the "Chanson" paper in the range to create that lovely quilt like background for her photo.  The gorgeous butterflies on the page are some of Prima's canvas range. If you haven't tried them before, give them a go!  You can alter the colour of the embellishments with ink or mists.  Sue used Georgia Peach and Primrose Colour Shine mists to colour her butterflies.

Stacey loved the colours of the Bo Bunny Mama Razzi colletion.  She used the teal and orange to create some mixed media work on her background.  The cameras are also a cool addition to the collection and she cut out a few and adhered them to her page with foam tape.  She finished off the page by adding some of the gorgeous jewels.

Leanne loved creating some cards with the Prairie Chic collection, in particular, the bright and floral papers in the 6x6 paper pad. Leanne loved the way the floral papers featured many of the colours in the co-ordinating patterned pieces which made selecting the papers to use together so easy.  The collection also has many papers which are pre distressed which work well with Leanne’s card making style.  This collection has a great mix of grunge and elegance!
This first card was a quick and simple card featuring hand cut fishtail banners with a layered butterfly punch on the front of the card. To give the butterfly dimension Leanne added foam tape to the wing sections between the layers. 

 

The Prairie Chic collection is so versatile. For this card Leanne teamed up some of the brighter patterned pieces to create this circular card.

 

Another fun bright and cheery circular card!  This time Leanne used the same Sizzix Thinlits Dies – Arrows, Banners, Chevrons & Clouds set and cut the banner in both cardstock and patterned paper to create the banner embellishment.  The 6x6 paper pad has some lovely gingham papers which match so well with the floral papers.  Leanne also used the pre printed lace border on the floral paper as a feature on the card.  Leanne attached both patterned pieces together before cutting her circle with the EK Circle Cutter

 

This cute free standing tag features some of the softer coloured papers in the collection. The chevron striped and patterned striped papers work well together as the 6x6 paper pads prints are perfectly miniaturised for tags.

Juliana Michaels from the Bo Bunny Design Team used the Prairie Chic collection on this gorgeous layout.  Her layout showcases how well the papers, stickers and flowers from the collection work together. She also used the great new Bo Bunny 8.5 in doilies and has created a great picture tutorial of the technique she used to alter the doilies. You can see the tutorial here.

 

Gabrielle Pollaco also from the Bo Bunny design team has created several stunning layouts she has allowed us to showcase today. 

This first layout was created for the 2013 Winter CHA and we are honoured to share it today!  This one is using the stunning C’est La Vie collection.  The combination of the browns and pinks in the collection are just gorgeous.

 

This layout also by Gabrielle has choose to use the neutrals and greens from the Mama Razzi collection and the little banner under the photo is just too cute. 

 

Gabrielle has also created this layout entitled “Sweet” with the C’est La Vie collection from Bo Bunny.  The layout although from the same range as the previous one has a totally different colour pallet and feel.  Gabrielle has truly shown the versatility of the Bo Bunny C’est La Vie collection on these two layouts.  She has teamed the patterned papers up beautifully with the co-ordinating embellishments and flowers together with lots of the background stamps, including the Distressed Textures stamp, the 'It is Written' stamp set and the 'Flourishes and Such stamp set.

The Far & Away collection from Teresa Collins, although designed as a travel range, is perfect for scrapping other photos too.  She loves the envelopes in the range and has made a feature out of them, scrapping a photo of her son Bailey, at age eleven.  The pockets are perfect for adding larger amounts of journaling to a page.

Jill combined the Teresa Collins Stationary Noted Chipboard Elements with the Stationary pack and buttons to create a little book of "wisdom" and inspiration for her 19yo son.  
She found the colours and themes so easy to work with and are perfect for both masculine and feminine themes.

Kim has used the Family Ties range to create this gorgeous layout of her parents with her son and new furbaby.  Kim loved being able to create little clusters of embellishments by simply layering all of the wonderful stickers that are part of the range.  She was also impressed with the corrugated Thickers - they added heaps of texture without weight or too much bulk.

What's not to love about this collection by Pebbles Inc?  Stacey adored working with the Walnut Grove collection and really enjoyed the colour palette.  The patterned papers are gorgeous and she loved the cut out elements (arrows, butterflies etc).  Mix it all together with a little mix media and it makes for a cute, fun page.

Leeann loves anything with spots and chevrons plus having the pattern papers that are double sided with lots of paper accents gives you so many more choices when designing pages. Leeann wanted to use a bit of everything and created a collage page, each piece of paper and accent just overlapping with a bit of machine stitching for added texture.  She finished the page of by using the stickers from the sticker sheet and throwing in a few buttons.

Jane added quite a bit of detail to this card, lets see  - she cut up the puzzle paper and used the words as a frame, uneven areas and corners were filled in with a cut-out star square, she added small pieces of the Washi tape behind the sprocket gears and glued them in place. Jane also used the gears embossing folder with the blue paper and sanded it to tie it all together.

Jane has a thing about arrows at the moment and they work really well on male cards! The chevron Washi tape was trimmed to look like arrows and a row of metals game spinners were added to create more interest. The number wheel sticker can be pointed to the recipients age or if they are older you could place numbers stickers over one area!
