While Zva Creative are known for their stunning crystal swirls, Danielle challenged herself to create a boy-themed page with a range of Zva products. This wasn't actually difficult at all, with the corduroy fabric brads and green leaves from Zva creating a gorgeous, organic feel to the page. Crystals were used to enhance the page, but Danielle chose these cute tree designs that were still suited to the masculine / nature themed page.

 

For this layout Georgia chose to use the more subtle Zva rosebuds and soft pearls to add dimension and pop but still keeping her signature clean style. Georgia has created a bouquet of rosebuds in various colours and scattered individual buds around the page. By punching small holes in the page and poking the wire stems through to the back of the card stock Georgia has managed to affix the buds securely yet still let them lift off the page.

zva creative: a new competition!

This month we’re teaming up with Zva Creative to give you the opportunity to win a whole bundle of Zva crystal, pearl and flowery goodness, and the chance to appear in their amazing gallery as a guest artist.  We want to give this chance to Aussie entries only, so apologies to internationals.

All you need to do is send us images of your layout or project that makes use of beautiful, current Zva products to [email protected] by Sunday 31st July.  Zva will judge their favourite and we’ll let you know the lucky winner in early August.

ZVA have the most beautiful pearl and crystal flourishes Caz has ever seen. On top of this they are also very easy to apply to your page. Caz has had trouble with some swirls losing their shape when removed from the backing paper before but these somehow keep their shape and hold it while you stick them down. The natural colours and leaf shape of this swirl match in with the grasses in the sand dunes where Caz's kids and their friends went camel riding.

 

 

How’s this for a beautiful idea for a special occasion card?!  Inspired by a similar idea on an apparently very expensive card a friend of hers had for a 100’th birthday, Suz whipped up this beautiful concoction for her mother’s 80th birthday celebrations for at least half the cost!  Two shades of the tiny Zva roses covered a chipboard ‘80’ and a matching bling flourish down the side made this card fit for any special birthday. Suz cut the flourish to give her the straight line for the edge of the page, which also gave her extra bits of bling to add to the floral number.

 

Jane Clark create a gorgeous little scene on a card using the lovely Zva pearl trees. She placed them on cream cardstock and then coloured inside them with watercolour pencils – the sticker adhesive forms a perfect barrier.  Jane embellished her scene further with the October Afternoon Fly-a-kite collection stickers, rubons and papers.

 

Every little girl loves sparkle, pink and pretty things! Jane used Zva Creative 12" crystal chain in rose to create a frame around her image. The paper used are from the Little Yellow Bicycle Tiny Princess collection.

 

Caz's new phone cover was just too boring for words so she decided to jazz it up a a bit. ZVA's pearl leafy branches did the trick with a couple of older Heidi Swapp bling flowers to top it off.

Suz loves the light and movement the swirly Zva crystals add to a page.  This is a simple enough layout detailing their usual morning routine, made beautiful by the addition of the crystal flourish.  Suz also added beautiful pink Zva roses and because they were slightly too pink to work with the Websters trim, she spritzed them with Gold Glimmer  Mist.

Janine adores the way Zva Crystals work so perfectly with pretty feminine pages. They add that sparkle that lifts a page to a whole new level of prettiness. She also adores the sweet rosebuds as well. In this layout Janine has enhanced the colour of the Zva roses with a touch of Cherub Pink Glimmer Mist.

Jana Eubank created this gorgeous layout using Crystal accents, silk butterfly and flowers, felt flowers, canvas brads, crystal brad by Zva Creative, as you can see it is just beautiful, thankyou so much for Jana.

Julia Stainton has added just a hint of the zva black crystals to this page, but it is the perfect way to add interest and movement to this beautiful vintage feel page, while drawing your attention to the title as well.

It is always nice to have embellishments that are versatile and can be matched to any collection. Zva is great for that purpose. The flowers can be customised to match any colour scheme with the use of Glimmer Mist. And who doesn’t love pearl and gem flourishes? Sue created this layout of her daughter using mostly October Afternoon papers with Zva embellishments to complete the look.

As the pearl flourish was too big for what Sue wanted, she simply cut it into pieces and then positioned them on her page how she wanted them. The cute Zva flowers have been sprayed with Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist.

 

 

The Zva Flourishes, Flowers and Brads are just so stunning on any project, Carole used them to coordinate with Rouge de Garance "Adele" Collection, and they were perfect. Carole put the flourish onto transparency and then layered the flourish over the pattern paper and flowers.

 

 

 

 

 

Jana Eubank created both of these gorgeous layouts using a heap of Zva products including crystal accents, silk butterflies and flowers, felt flowers, canvas brads and crystal brads.

Janine knew from the moment she saw the fountain swirl by ZVA that it was going to become the "stem" for some flowers. Rather than cluster a lot of embellishments together on a page, Janine chose a simple approach to allow the ZVA elements to stand out.

 

The Material Brad designs by Zva are both classic and contemporary, and a wonderful choice of embellishement for most styles. For this particular layout of her mother on her wedding day, Louise has created her layout in a funky vintage style, which suited the fact that it was a small low-key family, home town country church wedding, in the late 1950's. The colurs are earthy and classic to suit the venue environment and design theme. The Rose bushes in the photo background also inspired the design.

 

Using the original photo as additional inspiration [her grandmother was leaning aginst a fence with a bushland back drop], Louise has created a layout of earthy subtle contrasts to depict her feelings about her grandmother; soft gauze and diecut papers, earthy toned colours, rustic design elements, and the use of the Zva classic design crystals and regal material brads.

 

Steph always seems to use bling on her pages, just to tweak them a little or to give them an undeniable accent of beauty and flair. Here she has used them as a showstopper to frame her daughter, and add some glitz to her layout. Zva Bling is so easy to peal off and adhere to your layout and the result is just sensational. Even the strips of bling can be used artistically, as Steph has shown here, to dangle her chandeliers from.
